The text in blue above would seem to indicate a Senegal Scammer. Variations of the Caps part is a peculiarity of these. It is also used by a scammer with male and female profiles who alters the text to suit the role played and got it wrong. Victims see these signs and yet never follow instincts Since scammers use the same text all the time it helps to track them. Everything a scammer says and does is a lie and a multi layered crime of credit card fraud, stolen money, and fake cheques. Even something simple like getting flowers is defrauding someone else of $50. The scammer didn't go and spend his own money on them, and didn't give a damn as long as it introduced feelgood factor and made the mark trust him.

We do deal with some victims who have serious psychological problems (and I don't mean that as being our opinion) and also health problems. Also we can deal with people from parts of the world who are very innocent and trusting, and the elderly from any part of the world can fall into all those categories, as well as those who are just in a desperate financial position and are looking to grab at any straw.

We try to help rather than make a judgement. The aim is to make the scammer happy and try to avoid the victim losing (more) money.

If a scammer makes 100 email addresses, he could go and make say 100 profiles in various sites with each one. He can repeat that with all the other email address he has, edit text a bit, change sex, add stolen photo. That is 10,000 profiles. He doesn't have to do anything more except wait like a bait in a trap. If he has a statistical result of say 1% he has 100 marks. If he works on them he might get a pay out. It is the victim who gets into that situation for any reason such as above, or because they are lonely. Some are not so educated, don't read English well and fail to see the mistakes, and the scammer relies on that. How many non English people/users would know a Nigerian accent in a chat, or recognize common Afro English phrases? The results are entirely statisical and the sums of money scammed astronomical. We try to get between the scammer and the mark. The mark is likely to become a victim, so this is what we do. Hopefully we have a similar statistical result, but we can't hope to match the output, and we are often dealing with an end result and not preventing it- even though we try our hardest. We are a small army and admittedly overwhelmed but we do our best.
I have seen chains of scammers based on one email address, giving over 2000 fakes. I posted a text extract above and if you put that into a search see how far it goes. Then take the text that isn't used before and search that and you will be going round in bigger circles all based on one scammer. Sometimes they add an email address that is new so you go back to the start and repeat the searches and text used. That's how it goes.

I wish there was something I could do to help this situation with scammers. Can you think of anything I can do to help others? I could spend maybe an hour a day volunteering online.

Not only that, but how could one expect to find a date (much less a partner for life) by requesting someone who 'serves'.
