Hi Motive

I have just replied

For the benefit of others;

Hotmail header instructions given

Header analysis tool link given.

@Motive, if you ever want to know where an email originated from, use the same instructions to find where the email came from, it isn't 100% accurate but it is usually right.

There are some instances where the information will be completely wrong such as when the email came from a gmail account, I will see what I can find out when I receive the header

Hi Motive

I will do some research and post my findings but at a quick glance this will not be easy to find any information on.

Could you please forward me those emails, dont worry about the header for now, what you have posted is not the header and I doubt it will be any help, others may find it useful so I will leave it as is for now.

As for your online security, if you suspect your emails has been hacked, change your passwords immediately, this is a good idea anyway.

Any more information you can give us will help to determine what is going on here

Hi Motive
Check your trash folder, if it is in there you can send it back to your inbox, otherwise there is no way of retrieving it

hello ralph....and hapyy new year

I'm now ok with my life but now I'm having a relation with a guy, named charles walker.

He's from england but he's an american. i've known him for about 2 months and i do love him but i'm a little scared of him. I'm scared that he might be a scammer but i'm not so sure about it how to tell if he is one of them or not.

He sends me letters, and calls me from his phone which was from england. that was ok, but now, that he's in malaysia, a nearby country of my country, well, he ask me to help him on money issue. the reason that he ask my help on money matter, coz he was hold by the immigrations because he was bringing an undeclared big amount of money (more than 200 k us) . He ask me about $1000 us to sent to him so that he could fly to my country. as I was aware that i was scamed before, but i didn't sent money yet for i need your advice on this matter. I'm scared that is if i sent him once, that he will ask more to sent again. he also sent me his picture and a certificate of anti-terriost which has my name on it. the certificate is use to show to the immigration officers so that the money is not for to support the terriost ...since there was a news of the Nigerian man wanted to bomb the plane on 26 dec last year. he told me that the immigrates officers were stick on their rules. the money is actually is for to pay for the certificate.

please......i need your help.

his is his phone number in uk - +447031859622

this is his phone number in malaysia - +60162379460

please......i need your help.

I do check on the internet on his name, but it was negative, there was none of his picture nor his name was on a website.

Hi Motive,

I am sorry to tell you that it looks like a scammer, the phone number alone is a big give away.

4470 phone numbers are UK redirect numbers, calls to these phone numbers will redirect to the owners location, in this case most likely in Africa.

If you could post here or forward the emails to me I can give you more information.

Meanwhile, I will see what I can find from what you have given me.

Hi again Motive.

A few basic rules may help keep you safe;

Never send money to anyone you do not personally know.

Do not be quick to trust, do not give personal details or share photographs.

Be careful what you post on the net.

Do not put others at risk by being careless.

Be extra cautious and learn how to use Google to check things out.

Not everyone out there is truthful or trustworthy

There's also no such thing as an "anti-terrorism certificate". Anybody who asks you to pay for one is a scammer.

Hi Motive,

Unfortunately, I have to echo what the others are saying. It is definitely a scammer. There is no anti-terrorism certificate, your scammer has been in Malaysia since day 1 and if he is not behind a proxy or using IP stripping emails, the early IP's will prove it.

We have seen a tremendous increase in the number of Nigerian type scams coming out of Malaysia in the past few months, especially romance scams. Apparently, it is fairly easy to get a student visa to Malaysia, so a lot of young Africans are taking advantage of the opportunity to relocate and scam from a new country.

There is no such thing as an anti-terrorism certificate, and a real businessman does not travel with that amount of cash--it is not safe. It is an international economy--with the availability of international banking and instant transfers, a real businessman with legitimate business can complete a transaction in any country with just a cellphone and maybe a computer--he does not need almost a quarter of a million dollars in cash.

hello raplh...

yes, i did get another scammer, well, he's not bright as on saying his words to me. i was bit more cuirous that ever when he told that he was in trouble.....

this is his e-mail - [email protected]

this is his phone number in malaysia +60162379460

this is his phone number in uk - 447031859622... but then i found it was a nigerian tel number.

I just had a fight with him in my tel...

i ask him to be honestly to me in answering my question which was about him and who he was for i founded that he was cheating me behind my back, but then he accusing me that he thought i had made a long tale for i might have a new guy stand by, he says he hates me but yet he ask for my help in dealing his debts and asking for my account and hoped that i would reply him in order to pay me back.... :yeah right....

i wouldn't want to do it, plus ever since i was couple with him, i felt unhappy for he told me not to have male friends for he wasn't comfortable with it and not to be close with any man. i felt my freedom was tight by him...

but then i didn't cry when he told me good bye.....
