Please help me/Hotel Employment Scam[Moved]

Actually, this one is a bit more complicated.

The site thereemhotel.co.uk is not a fake site created to bolster this scam.

CentralR = Central Reservations http://www.centralr.com/

CentralR is an online booking service. The purpose of this site is to route visitors to book through them. The reason there is no contact information for the hotel is simple--if the person calls and books the reservation by phone, CentralR gets no money. CentralR owns several different sites, all managed the same way, with the only option to book through their service.

The scammers do take advantage of this site, though, because it has no contact info. The victim cannot check the scammers' numbers and emails against those on the site, because there are none.

Oh God, not the Reem Hotel again I've been asked numerous times about this one and spent quite a few hours researching them in the past.

(about thereemhotel.co.uk) However, there is no contact information on this website: no telephone or fax numbers, no email address and no hyperlinks to any other sites: affiliate sites, parent company (Crystal Hotel's PLC), etc.

I agree that not putting a telephone number on the site is no good business practice. There is no link to the parent company, but that doesn't make it a fake website. I visited the parent company, selected to book a room and was redirected to a https connection on CentralR.com, which seemed to check out completely. When booking a room on thereemhotel.co.uk I get redirected to the same https connection, also on CentralR.com. So, there is a (not so obvious) link to the parent company and the site in question. I have no reasons to assume that the https connection for CentralR.com is forged, something that isn't done easily.

I also tried to book a room on reemhotel.com; yet I can only select arrival dates before 2008. If i still click further to continue, I come to a page, supposedly at the parent company where the coding is all messed up. Odd.

Both sites have been around for several years - that's highly unusual for scammer sites. The mother companies have been around a long time too.

In addition, the 'descriptive writing' of the site doesn't read right.

That's highly subjective and can't really be called proof, though A pointer, at most. I've seen many ridiculous sites, very amateuristic, with horrible writing on it but turned out to be legitimate in the end.

Edit - I forgot to add that even though reemhotel.com has it flaws and looks worse, I haven't really got any other reasons than the one listed above to call this a scam. I do believe they are both legitimate in the end, how their business ethics are we can only guess, ofcourse

Dotti and Michael, valid comments and fair enough about it being legitimate.

For myself, if there was no contact information on their site, one would naturally question why and alarms would be sounding in my head. Personally, and on that basis alone, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
