After googling this last task, I ran into this website. I am so greatful to have found this because I have been wondering if this was a scam since I found out the pay. $25 an hour without having any type of degree or something sounded to good to be true. I asked Mrs. Douglas if this was a scam and after trying to tell me that it wasn't and realizing I was no longer a victim of her hype she stopped replying to my messasges.

• Responsible for Order Entry and Control of information related to job files and internal systems up to invoicing.

• Organize orders received either through inside sales or direct from customers to ensure all requirements are met for order entry (set by Management). At least it only wasted two mornings where I could've been sleeping in. I started to think I was doing this person's homework or something. Good thing I have a legitimate interview today.

When I googled a few of the questions above, this website was at the top of the list. So after I sent her completed work for task #2, I emailed back 30 min later formally apologizing for short notice and saying I couldn't work for them anymore, made up something about taking another position. They emailed me back this morning saying, "This is a very short notice because the company has already mailed you your pay check...what do you suggest we do now?"

So I replied back with, "Oh, well, I suppose you could just void the check and I'll disregard it when I get it in the mail. Plus I know you guys are a scam. Good day to you."

I was contacted for a job as a data clerk they told me they worked for Private HealthCare UK, which is an actual Health Care Company in the UK that helps people find the right private health insurance for them. And because of the Affordable HealthCare Act they see a market in the United States.

I was contacted by a Marissa Logan. She is a well respected doctor that has a PHD in BioMedicine according to Private Health Care UK's site. She does not work in the HR Department for Private HealthCare. The email address they gave me was [email protected]. This is the email she was using for Google Hangouts to talk to her via Instant Messaging to get the job. After researching I now know that no company out there does interviews through IM. If they are not in your local area they do video interviews via Skype then they ask you to come down for a face to face. The other email was [email protected]. Real companies set up company emails for their staff. So this was a major red flag. Realistically, it would of been something like [email protected].
Another was my supposedly trainer Gary Morris. His email was [email protected]. Notice something? They told me they were all in the UK so why is his email address at AMERICA Online? ALL Emails have a digital fingerprint that tells you where the email originated as everything done online can be tracked to help fight crime. In outlook you have to right click and choose properties. I did so and that Email came from California of which they lied they were sending emails out of the UK which is the same state the check they sent me was mailed from :faceslap:

They will make it all seem real they gave me an employee ID of HR66550G. Most likely they reuse this.

The check they are referring to is a $2250 check they sent to purchase software on a website of theirs. They said go to the ATM once the check comes and use Money Gram to buy the software. Check came in and it was a Cashier's Check. There is confusion on how they are getting the funds from you when you cash the check. Simple. The website to buy the software was created by the schemers.Most banks do not clear them instantly. However, banks are permitted to take back money from a "cleared" check one or two weeks later if subsequent processing finds it to be fraudulent. Because customers believe the checks have been found valid and have been converted to cash in hand, customers are readily defrauded by schemes that ask them to part with goods or a portion of the money if it is cleared in a timely manner. This is the whole point of the scheme they are doing. The questions they ask you are to make you think it is all legit to do what they say.

A legit company would not give you a Cashier's Check rather a check would be made directly from the company.

They are using these task to trick you into thinking it is all real to cash the check. They told me to only cash the check at an ATM, red flag:

It was brought to my notice by the acct dept that looking at the company's recent records, Most employees who received the start up check and deposited via the ATM, cleared faster within (24hrs) and were able to purchase their software programs from the retailer and this enabled them commence training and work proper in time without delays.

Once you receive the check, notify me immediately so it can be noted that it has been delivered to your home. I advise once the check is received, you are to proceed to the ATM machine and have the check deposited into your active account so it can be duly processed and money can be made available in time within (24hrs) or less, for purchase of your working materials to enable you commence work ASAP and meetup with other employees on your team so you can start earning your pay with the company. Using the ATM is quicker than a bank teller and is the best method to have quicker access to the software to begin your training.

Do you have an ATM close to you where the check will be deposited?

Really? I seriously hope no one is gullible enough to fall for that. They are afraid a teller noticing the check is forged as they are trained on that so want you to use an ATM. Dirty little schemers.

His role with Intuition Communication is Director however. Again Linkedin.com, which is like Facebook for working professionals.


They stated they got my resume off Monster.com.

I am thankful I googled their bank reconciliation question and it bought me here.

Researching I learned that only about one in 40 of work at home jobs are legit. If you get a job where they claim to be overseas or in a different state without doing a face to face interview through Skype then meeting with them in "real life" face to face then it is FAKE.

I hope this info helps others who are victimized.

HI, I just recently I was sent information from a company called Apria Healthcare. I was offered the same job with the exact same description as everone else. I actually thought that is was legit because Apria Healthcare is a real healthcare provider. The company stated that they would send be a 2000 check, ( that is when I became a little suscipcious). After having been told to complete task B. I was just browsing the web copying and pasting some of the questions into my google search and thank God, I cam across this website. Now I know that this company is a scam.I have completed 2 tasks but I have not received a check from. I know now to not cash or deposit the check in my account. The only thing that I am a little nervous about is that since the first post on this page initated, the company has gotten bolder. They sent me an application in which I actually filled and returned. I am a little nervous as to how far they can go with my information. They have my name, address, and DOB.

I am happy to hear that you avoided being scammed. If the check arrives while you are home just refuse delivery. If not just rip it up and throw it away.

The scammer wanted your name, address and DOB to make his scam seem real. You should have nothing to worry about.

Uggggghh. I'm so upset. I knew it was too good to be true. The whole "instant messenger" interview thing was weird to begin with. I had been applying to multiple jobs on Indeed, and apparently they got my contact info from there. It started off with text messages and eventually ended up with me having to activate my yahoo messenger. I was just about to start on my task one and Google the answers when this forum came up. My emails looked exactly like you all's. I was asked a series of questions during the interview such as my full name, address, and telephone number. I regret that now!! I feel like I have to watch my back. Where it really started to get weird was when they informed me that they would be sending a check for me to purchase some software for my computer. I also thought it was funny how any of the emails that were sent from who was "Anthony Poon" and "Ivan Niles" were always sent to spam folder on my yahoo email. Why would a legit company or email get sent there? That's when I really got suspicious. Below is the initial email. The company was called SOCAR tradaing Corp. There was a legit site and everything and as everyone else said, googling the names brought up an actual name that was underneath the company. SOCAR is apparently some overseas oil company. They "claimed" that they were coming to the states and were currently looking for a building in Arlington,Tx to open up an office. I was told that I would be working at home and online for a month until then. Very fishy I thought. Luckily I still have my 2 jobs and didn't get sucked all the way in.

Moral of the story is, If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I'm glad I stopped before it got any deeper.
