I recently (late 2012) exchanged emails with a potential roommate due to a Craigslist ad. The person, claiming to be a female turned out to be out of the area although they didn't originally reveal that. Also, after several emails due to language pattern differences, I became convinced I was corresonding with more than one person. A web search led me to this site, where I found carpehiram's 2009 posting with some language that was identical to the most recent email I received from this scammer(s). So, they're still pulling the same scam and although I flagged their Craiglist ad, I can not email Craigslist this web page so they can see the identical wording carpehiram posted. Thank you for doing that!
