Clair,

The addresses on both of the above ring bells from previous fake sites.

I'm away from home at present, so I can't really do any investigation at present, but I would say they are fake. Have you arranged for them to be killed?

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Be careful with the site london9iceapartments.uuuq.com. I've booked an apartment from this site. the contact person is Henry Boyate and it is all fake. Somebody went to check the flat and it does not exists. luckily i've only sent him part payment and i am still on time to book another flat. There is also another site Allianceholidays.com which has the same registered address. so please be carefull.

Welcome to Scamwarners
Thank you for the additional information

If you have any questions please dont hesitate to ask
by Arnold Mon Jul 20, 2009 6:25 am
Thank you for posting that, but can you post more information, such as emails from the company. We need more evidence to get sites shut down.
Looking up this one I find
Updated Date: 20-mar-2009
Creation Date: 26-mar-2004
Expiration Date: 26-mar-2011

Scammers usually set up sites for the minimum 12 months. The only thing about it that says "scam" to me, is the redirect telephone number, but that isn't enough.

I've done the first payment via swift transfer to

"Find below is our Company Bank account.
Beneficiary Name: T Plus Plc.
Country of Beneficiary: London, United Kingdom.
Bank Name: Barclay's Bank
IBAN: GB80BARC20829420505412
Bank SWIFT/BIC Code: BARCGB22
Reference: 106814103"

Now he wanted the remaining part of the balance to be sent via Western Union only payable to
Receivers Name:    Mrs. Jennifer Stevenson
Address: Monck Street, London, SW1P 2AS

As he said he "You are to know that our bank account is temporary fixed due to in-security we notice on it, few days ago we observed that some internet hacker as been transfering money out from our account and therefore we have temporary closed the account until further notice, therefore the money you claim to sent wont get to us"

The apartment was supposed to be in 24 Monck Street, but in fact there are no flats for letting

kuju PM'd me with the details of the site, but I've not had a chance to do anything with it yet as my broadband has been a bit flaky.

The WhoIs info that you got is for uuuq.com, which is a legitimate site. The scam site is just a sub domain of that one (probably free hosting) and it is that, that need closing down. I will try and get a sitekiller at 419eater to take a look at it.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

More likely that it has been closed down due to it being used for fraud. I know that I have reported that account at least once.

I come from Barcelona.
I've been just defrauded by Bryn Tucker and Vera Tucker
(http://www.london-holidaysettings.com). After so many mails trying to book a
flat in Notting Hill they give me all the bank details. it's impossible to
complet the bank transfer due to the company name (L.C HOMES) don't belong
to the account numbers.
They said me to send the money via W.U (30% of the total budget plus 200
pounds of deposit).
After thousand of mails and calls to the number they provide in their
website they ask me to pay the total amount.
When I say I won't they tell me they're gonna cancel the reservation and
refund me the money in three weeks.
Today, when I've checked the holidaylettings site I've seen the website is
disabled.
I attach you word file (9 pages) including ALL the mails
Please, tell me what can I do to curse a formal complaint. I really
aprecciate your help.
Looking hearing from you soon

Uri

Uri,

We will refund you back in 3 weeks.

Thanks

Bryn,

ok, how can you refund me back the money. (western union?)
I cannot wait 3 weeks to recieve the transfer, cause I need to book
another flat.
Sincerly I don't undertand how your conditions have changed? i guess the
30% is enough guarantee to rent a flat.
I should have the transfer the next week.
Uri

Uri,

We will cancel your booking and refund you back in 3 weeks.

Hi Uri, Welcome to Scamwarners, but sorry to hear that you are the victim of a scam.

The www.london-holidaysettings.com website was shut down because it was a fake company site, designed to substantiate the scam. It sounds like you already realize that it is a scam. Unfortunately, you will probably not get that money back. The best place to report the crime is to your local police department. If you gave the scammers your bank account information you should also call your bank and have the account closed.

Also, please edit your post to take out your personal information. If your username is your real name, please PM a Moderator and ask them to change it. It is best to remain anonymous when posting here.

Please feel free to ask us any questions and take a look around the site to educate yourself on the various scams. We are here for support, but we cannot help you get your money back.

Hi kuju, london9iceapartments.uuuq.com is definitely a scam site. Our site killers are working on getting it shut down.
by kuju Wed Jul 22, 2009 8:59 am
thanks a lot for the help. Is there any possibility that these people get caught ????

Apart from london9iceapartments.uuuq.com, please check also Allianceholidays.com as they are registered in the same address and they also confirmed to me that they are of the same division.
