I am looking for someone to live in it, as soon as possible, because my company has won the auction for a project, in construction, for a building that will rise up in London, United Kingdom. I am a civil engineer, so my accommodation period in England will be about 4 years. The renting period is from 1 month up to 4-6 years. As a result of this I want to rent, for this period, at this price and also to find the perfect person for my apartment. I`m the owner of the apt and it's like in the pics.The apartment is unfurnished but if you want you can use my furniture from the storage unit. Hi there, welcome to scamwarners. I'm interested in the company that he mentioned, has he provided a website? If so, it's probably a fake website and it shut be closed down. I'm happy to hear you didn't get scammed!

I make no apologies for repeating it because if this one point can be taken in, then a large number of scams will fail.

It is legally impossible for a company to receive money through Western Union - so anyone telling you to pay a company that way is lying and wants to pick up your cash and stuff it into their pocket and that's the last you'll ever hear from them.

Western Union is a legitimate service but it is not legally able to pay cash to a company, organisation or government body. If anyone suggests otherwise, then you need no other evidence that you are being scammed.

If a person cannot offer you a bank account into which to pay funds in respect of a property rental, again it is highly suspicious. If the landlord doesn't have a bank account, it's likely they don't have a flat either.

Seems safer for my side of the money transfer and in the end it will

i got similar emails from two different people saying the were in the uk and the rent is high there so theyre renting they're apartment out at a cheap price to someone who'll look after it.

I had emailed them thinking the price was wrong on the website, I'm moving to australia next year so i'm just trying to get familiar with how everything works before i go. I searched the addresses on google and the apartments were for rent on www.realestate.com.au for more acurate prices, so they obviously just coppied all the pictures and information off ligitimate ads. the two email addresses were * [email protected] *and * [email protected]. * I wrote back to jason asking how he is going to show the apartment when he has the keys with him in the uk and he wrote me back that I should pay into a DHL account that would hold my money until i had recieved the keys also by DHL, seen the property and had a 10 day period to decide if i was happy with it. Seems there is more scammers on these australian websites than there is genuine ads, it's really annoying and if it seems too good to be true than it definitely is. There's the reply I got below from Jason.

First of all if you want to rent the apartment you need to pay 1 month of rent + 1 month of warranty ( $520 + $520 = $1040 ) ! ( but that month of warranty you will receive back after you finish the contract ) !
The contract will be made on minimum 2 months and maximum 9 years !
The price is cheap because i want to find a good person who take care of my apartment !
If we decide to proceed with this transaction, I will have to contact DHL and provide them all the necessary information, so they can start the process right away. I will need your full name and address for that. You will receive a notification from DHL shortly after that, together with all the instructions to follow and the invoice as well. Regarding the payment, you will be instructed to deposit the money to a DHL account. They will hold and insure your money until you check the apartment and decide if you want take it or not. This guy is still up and running, did it to me and as soon as he started talking about UPS and all that I was on alert - especially since the rent is so cheap! It was also removed from Immoweb but I just thought he had removed it because he was getting a lot of responses and why wouldn't he - it's really well priced and looks good. You seem to be a very nice person and I can assure you we will not have any problems. Like I have inform you before, the price you shall pay for 1 month of rent will be 400 euro but in the first month you must to deposit 900 euro, 1 month of rent plus 500 euro for security deposit payment which is refundable while packing without any lost or damage of my properties. The money, I want to revive it monthly to my bank account, so I hope it will be no problem for you to wire the money to my bank account.
Of course you will have to see the apartment before discussing further details because you cannot rent an apartment that you haven't seen. I am willing to send you the keys so you can visit it and see it suits your needs.
The delivery for the keys and viewing permit (signed by me), will be made through an authorized courier and using a Movers International is similar to FedEx, DHL or UPS, which will handle both payment and delivery of the Keys.
