I saw their ads in GumTree.
After several mailing, I transferred 35% of the total price and security deposit to them.
They used SANTANDER BANK(may I open their bank information here?)

Since then, all their ads in GumTree were removed
and their web site shows just welcoming sentence.
(You can see it in http://russell-flats.co.uk or http://manson-flats.co.uk so far)

I wish this posting would be help.

Chris.

Welcome to Scamwarners Julien, this looks like part of a scam group operating the rental flat scam on a large scale.

I won't pretend that there's much chance of you getting your money back, but we are delving deeply into the acitivities of this group and it would be of great assistance if you could provide details of how they asked you to make payment to them. We don't need your personal details at all, just those of the scammer.

It's their bank details we're after, and the details of how they asked you to make payment. I won't even guarantee that our investigation will lead anywhere, but we have useful information and anything confirming what we already know, or something showing different details could be vital.

Whenever payment is requested by Western Union you're dealing with a scammer
