I have recently discovered yet another scammer claiming to be a soldier in the US Army. The name he is using is Captain Collins John Ray. His details are that he is a 43 year old man, a captain, currently stationed in E07 Unit Infantry at Victory Camp, Kabul Afghanistan, two kids living with his grandmother, wife killed in car accident in London 5 years ago, residing in Chula Vista, CA when he is in the states. I have received flowers and chocolate covered strawberries, photos and pages of poetry and love letters. I became suspicious when I received a form to fill out to help him request his leave. The typos were terrible, with the last name of one of the officers not even capitalized. I had a friend who actually was in the military look at the form and was informed it was a fake. I then did some research on the internet and discovered this site. I immediately voiced my concerns to this so called Collins, who then became a tad bid defensive and just couldn't believe that I had doubts! Fortunately, I have only suffered emotionally and did not get sucked any further into this.
I have the form that I received and also have the photos that were sent to me. I would like to post them on here but am not sure how to do that yet. His e-mail IP address was tracked back to Nigeria. I also have the documentation for that.

Welcome to Scamwarner laydbugz and south12, and thanks for posting those two scams.
[email protected] is an interesting email address. armymail.com is a genuine free webmail provider that is new to me. And which looks more authentic for this type of scam than most free email addresses.
