Beware do not buy from this online scammer

Ordered an iphone from Cellumart, they said couldn,t process credit card requested pay by Western Union to a Chendar Hassem at 40 Osborn Street London. Confirmed order expected delicery. No show, they then said they thought I was going to increase my order but would now send, confrimed sent. Checked later only to find order had increased to 11 units. I queried this and they responded that it was their error they had blocked the delivery, but they could do nothing unless I paid for an extra 5 units (5free). I have told them I would not pay they say then my units cannot be returned and without payment they will not give me my unit. What do you all think? stupid me I know, but when you see the site you would have to think they were genuine, I want everyone who has been stung to email [email protected], he is supposed to be the head honco who makes the decisions. Here is his response to my request.

What do you all think, does anyone know how to block Cellumart from arvertising, if anyone looks up their site it would be good that the are then sent to a WARNING message.

In response to your mail, I want you to understand that these units can not be called back unless they have been delivered. You are not the only one with the problem...there are other customers involved in this too and those cooperating with us are having their packages delivered. I am sorry but that is the only way these orders would be processed...the company policy can not be bent for any customer.

I am a very busy man and I might not be so quick to respond to your emails, you can be sure that I would definitely get back to you as soon as I am chanced.

Thanks for the missive. Have a good day/night!

Bruce

So now I have blown my money how do we stop them

Thank you all

Welcome to Scamwarners niapc.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been scammed by this group. It appears that there is likely to be one major scam operation run from Rivers State, Nigeria (though there are many others I'm sure) and they host hundreds of websites and undertake massive spam runs to advertise that they have electronic goods for sale.

The first rule is never to pay for goods by Western Union. Any respectable company will have a bank account, and if they don't, you're dealing with a scammer and you won't receive any goods, or your money back.

I appreciate that it's too late for you and there's nothing you can do to get your money back. That's the problem with paying by Western Union. You can't track or trace the money and there's little doubt that it's not even been picked up by the person named, or at the location mentioned. Western Union isn't intended as a method to pay for goods, and scammers abuse the system.

By mentioning this new name they're using here it will help others who Google to check up on the company and, at the moment, that's about the most we can do to combat them. I'm staggered at the volume of sites they're using and spam and adverts they're sending out. We have site killers who will get the sites closed but the number they've built is monstrous, and they don't always bother to set them up for all the fake company names they use.

I'm hoping to get some more information on them.

Whenever payment is requested by Western Union you're dealing with a scammer
