Yes, based on the little that you've posted, I believe that [email protected] is a scammer. Would you please post the headers of the email that you received? We might be able to see where the message was sent from. Where does he claim to be? Instructions for finding the headers are below.

Thank you Helen for the tutorials and linked that you just sent I just found out that the guy emailing me is in the Columbus USA for the Aupair Nanny position job in Uk. Wow I am so suprised how many mean people would do as such as evil thing like this in scamming people online.
