I have another one impersonating a US Army Soldier, he uses the e-mail [email protected], he is not Timothy Nein who is a highly decorated United States Army Sergeant who has received the Silver Cross. This guy has all the answers, knows the soldiers dob, where he lives etc. He is pretty believeble at 1st however some of his phaseology I picked up on it wasn't that of an American Educated Army Soldier, He found me on a dating site and moved in for the kill very quickly, even sent pics that I found posted on line for the real Timothy Nein, this guy is a piece of work and I see he has tried it on others as well ,that is how I found out for sure had my suspicions but that confirmed it, within a few days of e-mails he loves me and is my soul mate ,LOL! He will tell you he is in Iraq is a Military Police with a squad of 9 and is and E7 Staff Sergeant, well the real Timothy is, but this idiot is not. Please all you women out there be very aware of this guy, he wanted me to get him set up the a Military Phone set up, to pay the subscriber fee, then "we could chat live on yahoo" Please BEWARE of this scammer, he is a piece of work. I can not believe someone would be so low and steal the identity of a Soldier like this. I guess it takes all kinds but hopefully this will help stop this one from praying on women again. My suggestion is to google the name you are given and research b4 talking to these type of men, I almost learned the hard way but that little voice in the back of my head knew what it was talking about.

Hello

Its good that you posted here to warn others of your experience, and better that you found out it was a scam before more damage was done.

I think we have been given a valuable lesson here in as much that you applied some "critical thinking" and asked yourself questions!! Once you start this procces its amazing how you can look at it from a different view. Also at the end of your post you said.. "but that little voice in the back of my head knew what it was talking about". Intuition is a wonderfull thing, its indicitive that things need to be explored, which you did. Thankyou for sharing.

Sagely

And remeber to talk about it, when you have finished talking, talk about it a bit more.

I have had the "pleasure" :laugh-s: of being contacted by mr. nein myself just a few days ago. His emails of how much he loves me makes me want to puke. He is not posing as a military personnel. He is supposed to be an Australian living in Missouri. :laugh-s: He has not asked for money yet, but I see it coming. He is in construction and has built a building in the UK but is going to have to go back and rebuild it because it is not right or he won't get his money for the job. but he doesn't have the money to get a hotel and he is pawning things. The emails are sickening but for some reason I get the feeling that this person may be disturbed enough that if he found out where I lived he might do something. I didn't get that feeling with other scammers I have dealt with. Most of the time when I call them out, I don't hear from them anymore. I have checked his IP address on romancescam.com and it has been used in nigerian scams before.

So beware that Tim Nein is searching on Match.com for anyone willing to give him a minute of their time. I've just been waiting to call him out.
