I was contacted by a Robert Anderson, who immediately wanted to move onto YM, ( alarm bells ringing?)and after just two days of telling me he was a U.S. surgeon stationed in Iraq, and sending me allsorts of photos ( his English was dreadful, fractured with appalling spelling) he was declaring undying love for me and wanted my email passwords to remove me from all other dating sites etc..( needless to say he didn't get them) then he wanted me to write to his commanding officer to pay £ 4,000 to get him back to me as he was sure God wanted him to choose me as a wife, and as a mother to his son, who was sufferring from the loss of his real mother. Then when that didn't work he decided I could send £4,000 to his 'agent' in Nigeria so that he could purchase a plane ticket for him to come and visit me. When I offerred to buy the plane ticket myself with my air miles, he dropped that idea , and then asked for money for his best friend who needed to be on a dating site and as they couldn't have any money in Iraq, I would have to register him and pay for him...( needless to say, that didn't happen either) and then he sent me photographs of himself with a box full of money, and he wanted me to contact an agent to say I was his wife and ask if would they deliver this parcel from a security company in Iraq to me....the reasons he gave this time for me having to send money to them was that they were taking risks by getting all this money out of Iraq. The requests for my money just got more and more ridiculous and after me wasting his time for over two weeks, he finally realised he was not going to get a single penny or any information from me and gave up.
This is a shortened version of this scammers methods, but please be aware that they play on your feelings, and if it wasn't for this site, I would have been very tempted to believe at least some of what he told me, as it was I was on the alert from day 1 and just wasted his time, whilst hopefully preventing him from scamming someone else. Hope this helps someone else.

Other soldiers have sent their own share to their wives and I kept my own with a Safety Security Company here in Ishal, Baghdad.


Now that I have gained your trust and honesty, I think its time for me to let you know about this, because I have no other person that can do this for me, I only have you and my son, I have suffered for so many years for this and I believe you are my love and my future wife.

I seek advice from one of our retired soldier who have done this before and he gave me two options that can be used to get the money to you and the contacts of each person involved in the options. And the options are as follows:

1. You are to contact a UN Military Diplomatic Shipment Agent, who have been working with the military for 28 years now with no problem, he goes to the war countries and help soldier deliver their achievements to the front door of their wives. You are to contact him and tell him that your husband, General Surgeon Rubel Anderson who has a parcel with the Safety Security Company in Ishal, Baghdad. That you want him to go there and have the parcel delivered to your front door, and this is urgent. Don't let him know that the parcel contains money.

2. You are contact a Military Lawyer who has been doing this as well for many years without no problem. You will tell him that your husband, General Surgeon Rubel Anderson who has a parcel with the Safety Security Company in Ishal, Baghdad and that the parcel contains money. You will ask him what and what will you need to setup an Online Account for you so that the money can be deposited in the Online banking Account and you will have access to the online account and you will be able to transfer the money to your account in the UK gradually. And let him know that is is very urgent.


Honey, I want to let you know that is completely legitimate and you have nothing to worry about, I will never put you in danger. I would have love to do this myself but the only problem we are having here is that we are not allowed to take anything out a war country nor are we allowed to make calls or do financial transactions. This is why I want you to do this for me. You have to choose the best option that is convenient for you and let me know then I will give you the contact of either the lawyer or the Diplomatic Shipment agent based on your chosen option.


Honey, this money is meant amongst other thing to setup the Charity Foundation I told you about for helping war veterans. The money is meant for furthering the cause you know I am Passionate about and I know you support this too. As you know these people have lost a lot while defending our country and we can never repay them for there loss. I want you to stand by me in this and I know Mark will stand by me too.

Honey , once you have this money with you, I will be coming to the UK and I can't wait to have you in my arms. This our love is booming and i know we shall be together soon and our love will manifest into reality. I will be patient waiting for an urgent response from you.

Thank you for posting up his "secret" and the way he works his scam jellybaby. We hope to help him be very unsuccessful as a scammer. As you know his name isn't Robert and he doesn't have a son named Mark either, he just wants you to fill his pockets with money.

We are presently in Iraq right now , I will update you before we will be leaving I need to have your full name and address also cell phone number to filed your information and everything will be recorded into our delivery list.



Well Regarding your email ,The amount for the delivery of the Parcel will be made known after I get to our office in Spain so that we can get the airway bill for you and let you know how much you are to pay. Though it should not be up to 7,500 Pounds because I have sized the parcel and It is in a good shape and also I know there is something valuable inside it. We will be living as soon as we have received the upfront payment in the amount of 3200 pounds to one of our branch so that we can process the airway bill for the delivery of your parcel. Once we receive this upfront payment, the parcel will be scheduled to be delivered immediately to your front door with immediate effect since this is an urgent delivery. This is known as express delivery. When I get to your house and delivered the parcel then you will pay the remaining balance which is 5500 Pounds. It will be better if the upfront payment is made as soon as possible since it is an urgent delivery and it can be delivered before end of next week.
