The above person approached me on a dating site and started corresponding with me. He was all in love with me in his email and needed some money to pay for his air ticket. I gave him a 1000 us dollars via moneygram and he told me which date he is coming by plane. Just before he was supposed to come he told me the travel agency said he needs to present 1500 euros at customs to proof that he will have enough money. He played on my emotions and sent me sms's that he cried all night and can't I help him with more money. I told him I were quite broke and can't help him. He then said he managed to borrow money, but still needs about 300 euros. I took out a loan a bank for that and sent it via Western Union. He sent me a new date for his arrival in my country South Africa and I went to the airport and he wasn't there. It was a great disappointment. I emailed and sms'ed him, but he doesn't respond. His phone is on voice mail. So I think he probable did come to South Africa, but to another person.I did see his profile on the dating site but this time under a new name. I warned them and they deleted his profile.

I just thought I will post this, to warn other people. Please be careful.

Thanks for posting and I'm sorry to hear that you have been scammed by this individual.

It is very unlikely that he ever came to your country, in fact the name you gave above isn't even his real name.

Could you post the email addresses and phone numbers that he used here, so that they will be searchable by Google and might help others who are being scammed by him.

He also opened a new profile on a dating site where his user name is seregenka. So I presume his new email address is probably [email protected] and seregenka.yandex.ru


His telephone number is +380991202452. His phone is on voice mail. So I think he left the Ukraine and will only be back in 3 months.

His address is 9 Matrosova street, apartment 8, Chernivitsi, Ukraine.
