My husband is looking for a new job. He replied to a job listing on Caigslist and got this:

But in the main time we would like to arrange for a interview to allow a more personal and mutual exploration of the venture as well as the issues of the job that need to be specifically addressed.
We can not conduct an interview for you if you don't meet the requirement below
* United States citizen or legal alien
* No felony convictions or any crime involving the illegal use of weapons
* Successfully pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting
* Pass drug testing
* Have good moral character
* Must be Mentally competent
* Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent certificates.
* Must Pass physical fitness training
We are urgently in need of security guard in our company located in area, so we will need you to come for an interview date is 12/10/2010, time is 1.00pm. The interview will be held at the address below but you will resume work at the company nearest branch to you. The company will be responsible for the cost of transportation to and from your location, a check will be sent to you. be rest assured that you will start work the 2nd day of the interview.

Your resumes made me choose as the team leader cause there are others set of employee that is also coming for the interview, that is why i am giving you extra task. Western Union charges should also be deducted from my money.

At this point, my husband decided to tell me what was going on. I immediately recognized it as an overpayment scam and cancelled the FedEx delivery. For any of you job seekers out there, if this person contacts you or if you receive an offer for a job interview in another state, transportation paid, ignore it. It is a scam.
