Hi there! Looks like I've been scammed!! Met this person on local Vancouver, Canada date site OKCUPID, but was talked into corresponding via Yahoo as follows;

[email protected] + email; [email protected]

Have been corresponding with a handsome James Mcbride, electrical engineer, working on contract with US military in Pakistan. Photos were sent of him and his son. Says he was Canadian, although grammar was weak, and seemed foreign. When asked he denied any having any accent.

Traced IP address to Nigeria
. Very persistent in leave request for transit grant with the United Nations. Email from UN with attached documents as follows;

#1 email from UN Officer: I'm Stuart Pearson, Transit Grant Officer of the United Nations , This is to inform you that your leave request concerning your partner James McBride present vice commandant of the Engineering crew deployed to Karachi Pakistan was received via e-mail and a confirmation telefax from the camp commandant in Karachi has been received .I've forwarded the request to the Director of Personnel[ D.O.D ] for the authorization of the leave processing .

This leave and liberty pass processing shall officially start as soon as i get the processing authorization from the Director of Personnel [ D.O.D ] just as stated clearly in the Leave and Liberty pass policy. Please be patient and I'll advice you on the next step of the processing.

#2 Three official United Nations Documents were sent to me to fill out and send back, stating money would need to be sent as well as meeting the person at an airport.

PLEASE BE WARE: NEVER GO TO YAHOO to CHAT if met on online date site. Do not send personal info. no matter how handsome picture is.

ADMIN NOTE:
This post was made by a pathetic scammer in Nigeria, who is attempting to use our site to make his fake forms seem more real. Most likely he has a victim who recognized him due to his fake forms, and he thinks that if he posts something here saying that the FAKE forms are real, he can convince the victim he is not a scammer.

He is also stupid and egotistical enough to think that he can fool a group of people who deal with low-lifes like him every day. You will NEVER apply to the UN or anyone else in order to get leave for another person. And just like the military, the employee requests his own leave, and does NOT pay for it.

ts a shame people still fall for this scams, I am close to a UN officer and he said, those emails and forms are REAL and exact, but were stolen for this scam , so many of them has been arrested and charged to court, you just have to be careful, if the UN will ever do anything about Leave, you'll have to contact them from their website to pick up and address. Lets make other people know about this website, they can learn alot from it.

I've taken the liberty of adding an explanatory note to your post.
