Just thought I'd post a message for anyone who doesn't already know about this.
I've been getting a few phone calls over the past year and this year from a group who seem to be trying to trick people into giving them access to their computers, claiming that your computer has been flagged as containing viruses or malware which need removing.
They seem to depend heavily on their target being unaware of how computers work, and will direct you to an application error log or a random system folder full of harmless junk files as "evidence" that there are viruses on your computer. Then they'll instruct you to open up the "Run" box and type in a website address which takes you to a site they've set up.
The URL changes with every call, the most recent one seems to be "www.tbs123.com" (DO NOT VISIT THIS SITE! It will likely attempt to infect your computer with something which will allow them remote access to it).

If anyone gets a call like this, just ignore anything they say to try to scare you, it's a con.
They can't infect you with anything unless you go along with their instructions and willingly download and run it or visit their website with an insecure browser.
