"David" contacted me on Match.com saying his subscription was about to expire. We have been emailing for 3 weeks....he is not for real. He says he's German, formerly from Houston/Austin, TX, a widower and was happily married for 19 years. His emails sound like love letters and I have found his "words of love and longing" on a variety of websites. I told him to stop with these emails or we would never meet in person. I'm sure he knows I'm on to him. He has never asked me for money, and I don't think I'll hear from him again. He goes by David K. Schultz.......email [email protected].....says he's working on a project in London and that his personal cell phone is +447024065886. Has anyone else heard of this guy?

Welcome to ScamWarners onthegogal42 and thank you for posting this information. Don't be discouraged if no one responds to your question, it often takes some time for people to find their way here.

The phone number (among other things) tells me this is a scammer. You might try searching the phone number if you want to see others who may have come across him.

Where were your resources for you to know that lovingdavid54 was not real?
You said "his words of love and longing" on a variety of websites. Can you communicate
the name of these websites or any additional information ?

I am interested to know as this sounds very similar to a email address I have been responding to
also from a Match.com contact - thank you for any further information - it would be helpful.

Welcome to ScamWarners bbennett. The original poster may not come back as some people do not keep checking here. Please post up some of the information and emails you have received. As I said above, the 4470 phone number tells that the person is not where they are claiming they are.

If you are dealing with this person or a scammer at all, your best choice is to just stop responding to them. They will not be looking for a relationship. They will be looking to "score" some money.

We can help you better if you will post some more information. You can also "google" the email address, though that is not absolute proof that they are not a scammer.

We look forward to helping you.
