What I did was told Gallen Foster that our computer is being monitored by a federal law enforcement agency. He doesn' t know if I work for the Feds or not. I'm sure they try to to buy and sell things as well. I haven't had him try to do anything more stupid than what he's done already, but we're waiting to see what he does next. Being familiar with law enforcement myself, nobody would tell yuo that you have to pay a fee to get your money back. Detectives get paid already by the state, so they don't get a "fee". I can't believe what these people will do to get your money! Most people do not want to get into trouble with law enforcement, so they comply with whatever demands the scammer wants. It's shame that these predators cannot be stopped.

Hi mandevilla,

I have split this post off from one of our informational topics in the intro to scams forum. As you are already discussing this scammer on another thread, I will lock this topic to keep the discussion about him in one place. Please do repost this information there if you would like to continue discussing it.

Have you sent a payment to a scammer with Western Union and now realize it's a scam? If the payment has not been picked up, you can cancel it immediately! 1-800-448-1492
