Hi, I've received exactly the same email this morning, the following day after I uploaded my CV to jobsite.
I thought it sounded too good to be true and found your post when I googled Mr Furlows name, I'd be interested to know how this scam works - curiousity means I'm tempted to respond!

The scammer wants to use you as a money mule.

The job will involve receiving money, most likely in the form of checks or money orders, but occasionally credit card or bank transfers, and forwarding that money by Western Union or moneygram. The checks/money orders will be fake, or the transfers will come from phished/hacked accounts.

Either way, your job will be laundering money for the criminals. If you were to participate, eventually, when the fraud or theft is discovered, the trail would lead straight to you--and you would be responsible for returning all money you handled, plus fees / fines, and you just might find yourself arrested too.

Thanks Dotti, obviously I'll be steering well clear. Horrid people just praying on people like me who are desperately looking for employment, wish I'd never uploaded my cv now.

I got something similar through very soon after signing up to Jobsite, the dodgy English convinced me it must be a scam, and your website has confirmed this. Thanks.

Here is the full email for reference. The bit that I really liked was where it states that it is a telecommuting job, everything is done online and then says "Note : Internet Access is required" Lol, really????
