I wish it were hello under happier circumstances tired woman. This basic travel allowance has been previously mentioned and it's an out-right lie, usually by West African and the russian scammers. Someone claims that they need to have a certain amount of money before they are allowed to leave the country in order to visit you - in fact there is no such thing as a BTA.
If anybody contacts you and attempts to get you to provide a payment for BTA, you should IMMEDIATELY break off all contact with them. I'm sorry the scammer has wasted your time.

Welcome tired woman. I'm very sorry that you have been scammed. Good for you for discovering the truth and posting here to help alert others. If you have not already done so, please stop all contact with the scammer.
Please understand that the person who is writing to you is not who he claims to be. He is not in the military and everything he has told you about what he needs money for is a lie. He is a liar and a scammer.
We have seen many examples of this type of scam. The angle he used appears to be having you apply for leave for him. This is never how military leave is granted and a clear sign of the scam.

Please see this information about this type of scammer impersonating military, viewtopic.php?f=13&t=6527 as well as this information for romance scam victims viewtopic.php?f=13&t=18484

Let us know if you have any questions, and please do post the other information this scammer is using so that other potential victims can find it and our website and be alerted to the scam.

Have you sent a payment to a scammer with Western Union and now realize it's a scam? If the payment has not been picked up, you can cancel it immediately! 1-800-448-1492

I would say he uses the pictures of Aaron Ramos without the photos being shown here . YOU CAN GOOGLE THAT. Any scam that mentions Aaron or Ramos will be that soldiers pictures. Of course TW it's a scam as you know, and whatever excuse never send anyone money by reason of an internet contact. Such requests however disguised are a scam. All the stuff he sends is in Nigerian English by the way and he is pretending to be different people .
vacation leave with Mr John Wayne Aaron in advanced.

Looks like scammers only knowledge of USA and military is from Cowboy and Western films and from pictures of the Staff Sergeant Aaron Ramos.
