P.S.A: ANNOUNCEMENT: https://www.facebook.com/daverybeauxarts (Darlene Avery Mitchell) AKA ( Davery Beaux-Arts )

PHOTOS OF HER VERIFIED IN SKYPE INTERACTION: https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hp ... 6936_n.jpg

https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hp ... 3632_n.jpg

https://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-as ... 1082_n.jpg

EXAMPLE OF ULTIMATUM IS BELOW WHERE SHE ASKS FOR SEXUAL POSES (SHE MEANS PORN) OR TO FIND HER ANOTHER VICTIM OR SHE WOULD NOT PAY AND THEN CUT ME OFF AND BLOCKED ME.

http://www.photobucket.com/davery-beaux-arts (my friend had helped me Edit and Change to hide my face and name as per Mikell advice and gave me her link :) )

SHE IS A SCAM ARTIST. TARGETING WOMEN, MODELS AND PEOPLE THAT COSPLAY (COSTUME ROLE PLAY)

Her other Links (http://www.modelmayhem.com/2614410 ) ( http://www.cosplay.com/member/313493/)

I had done modeling services for her VIA FB SKYPE AND SHE USES NORMAL SKYPE AS WELL, and the original agreement was payment upon modeling services rendered. and yes I know i was stupid. AND NOW.

She refuses to pay, on top of that threatened me to find more female models for her liking or do SEXUALLY EXPLICIT MODELING (yes basically PORN) to make it up for her since I told her if she did not pay by 3PM today I would be forced to press charges. She owes me $620 worth of negotiated modeling for her work.

I negotiated with her and asked for contact information she would only give me a disposable phone number (831) 515-8844, and a email [email protected] - she would not email me when requesting stating it was a waste of her time. I only asked her to REPLY so I know it is her EMAIL.

To stop any of your friends that do cosplay or model from suffering this outcome that I have PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD AND REPOST TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW.

The only thing I was able to verify was her FACE, was during a Skype session, this photo of her in the LINK above.

I HAVE REPORTED THIS AS INTERNET CRIME AS WELL HAVE A GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN HARASSED AND/OR VICTIMIZED BY HER. HER NAME OR IDENTITY OR LOCATION OF LIVING MAY BE FAKE, BUT THE PICTURES OF HER ARE REAL, SHE MAY BE TARGETING YOU, YOUR FAMILY, YOUR FRIENDS.

REPORT HER TO EVERYONE. DO NOT LET YOUR FRIENDS BECOME a VICTIM like me!!

Unfortunately this is true. I got targeted as well. I realise I did a stupid thing but in all honesty, I needed the money.
I realised she was a scammer and so told her I was quitting and so she is now threatening to post all the videos online.
Not sure wether she will follow through or not but don't let yourself be a victim like myself and the original poster.

As far as I know she did the same to me and it's been over the 24 hour period. Please write a report to IC3.go as well as reference this warning I posted to them. And yes call them also to talk to them personally. I have already made contact with multiple victims of this scam artist on Facebook as well as Skype. Do not be afraid -- I know I was. You are not alone. Use every method you know to expose this person to the public. Be strong. If you need someone to contact or speak to you found the right place. Thank you for posting.

@QQQueenie - Awesome. From being scammed, then going straight to warning victims. A huge thumbs up to you for that :D . I'm sorry to hear that you did get scammed, I'm glad you stopped contact with the scammer and came here with the informations.

This scam is a scam I never quite understood. QQQ and Piyo, would I be wrong if I assumed that you never sent money to this scammer?

I also think you should remove your name and picture from the fb-conversation you've linked to here.

@Piyo - I'm also sorry to hear that you got scammed.

The scammer will ask also for your bank information. By then most targets are already on guard because they promise to PAY you, right after the modeling session services were rendered but they don't - and this is all done via SKYPE. They will either threaten you - with posting it everywhere - to your FB, to YOUTUBE, to porn sites to your family and friends on whatever social network site.

My friend has posted up warnings on YOUTUBE about this scammer To view: (first post of warning) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Nt__jTOD7s and (when the scammer posted up the email threat to me) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=by2l8yUJCWs

@Mikkel: All my friends know that I have been scammed already. Either they respect me for owning up to my own mistakes or they basically regard me as a dumb dumb. People need to know this is real, so many scams going around but no one to reach out to. And it is unfortunate that people without seeing what is going on, they do not believe and just glance over or simply do not care. Every day... I have met or got in touch with another victim, since I have been posting and warning everyone. Yes I know I put my neck out there on the chopping board and the scammer may post my unauthorized recording as well. However, if I can save someone or other females, from facing my same fate. It is well worth it. As for the photos and the links, I can always edit them later on. But people want to see a face and people want truth. This is as horrible as the truth gets.

@Piyo: I know you want to stay unknown. Or you are probably scared out of your mind. No one knows how to deal with this situation. I have posted to you in a private message how to go about handling this situation. And if there is anything else I can help you with or if you trust me to know your identity message me privately and we can try to work together.

@Mikkel They never asked for payment. However they promised a very good pay which was discussed at our descretion. Personally, we agreed on about £400. But everytime I asked for it they kept pushing for more and more and... obviously I never saw a penny for it.

I forgot to mention. I wanted to quit talking to her using the excuse I got a boyfriend (which wasn't actually an excuse, I really did aquire a boyfriend). And before threatening to share my information she pestered me to work with him in a "photoshoot". Also even more sickening, she messaged me on mothers day asking me to do something with my own mother. It makes me sick to even think.

Can you tell me how you posted those photos of your screen log so I can upload a similar one?
by QQQueenie Wed May 23, 2012 1:45 pm
This scammer is sick... to post a screen shot, all you have to do is click ALT + Print Screen (Prt Scr Sysrq key)

And then you can past into Paint and Save as a picture file, As per Mikell's advice, I had a friend help me use Paint to hide name and face of mine)

If you have any social networking sites or photo sites (make sure you feel safe and can try to change the URL for photo sites) you can post it there, and then right click copy URL and post it here.

This is the exact same person. I would advice not to remove this evidence from the post seeing as you already blacked out who you are and photos and all. But I understand not wanting this to be out there. I did not want my information to be out there having me exposed. But I knew if I don't that more victims will be accumulated and this is also how you found me.

I don't know if you feel the same way I do, but I don't want this scam artist to harm anyone else. Especially, when I found most of the victims that contacted me to be withing 3rd degree friends. 3rd degree...how far is that...it's literally I know a friend and found another victim that is MY friend's friend.

Spreading the information is not only to keep yourself protected ironically, but also to keep your friends and family protected.

There should be a private facebook group for all the victims is my thinking. A group of people is harder to attack than an individual. That way everyone can work together
by Mikkel Wed May 23, 2012 4:02 pm
One way both of you can get back at these scammers is by joining up at http://www.419eater.com . It's the largest scambaiting site in the world, and through that site, I'm sure you'd both become really efficient in dealing with these scams. There are plenty of people over there who'd help you get a good setup.

The private facebook group is also a good idea.

@QQQueenie - I gotta say that I respect your points. I'd still advice against doing it from your own personal account, since you have no idea what those scammers, or their accomplices, might do if they find you.

@Piyo - Thanks.

I think I have some theories on this scam, could be either (or both) of these:

1) Harvesting pictures for romance scams. This also explains why they want the explicit pictures, because they're sent to victims of these scams. They don't ask for payment because romance scams are, sadly, rather profitable for these scammers.

2) The victim becoming a money mule. At one point, you would maybe receive checks or bank transfers to your account, where you'd be keeping a part for yourself, and passing the rest along to a non-western world scammer. When the con's caught, you'll take all the heat for it.

EDIT: A third idea popped into my mind

3) Simple extortion. This scammer wants money by threatening to put the pictures up on the internet, with names and everything attached.

I have not heard of this website but I will look into it definitely!

Thank you for the advice, and if you check again, it has been updated and changed Mikell.

As for the scammer's looking for me personally. I already notified my local authorities.

I hope that everyone will spread this post, I have already come into contact with numerous people that have been harassed by or victimized by this person. I would appreciate if this was either posted-re-blogged or shared so that more people know about it.

Even if they do not believe me, they will relate that face or the name or the scheme - to be negative. To at least be weary of it.
