I actually 1. Live right around the corner from this house, 2. Am a licensed Realtor in this state. The house in question is actually owned by a Steven Rice, but I am sure this email did not come from the owner. 
This was an obvious scam, but when I googled the number this site came up. I am tempted to print the craigslist ad and this email and go tape it to these unsuspecting people's front door. Thanks for what you do here!
