Recently my friend fell victim to her first internet romance scam. Through what she has gone through I have learned a lot. My friend is a very trustworthy person who believes all people have good intentions.

She was being contacted by a person who called himself Peter Miller Wilfred. Miller supposedly his middle name. He was from the UK and was coming to the US to see her in a week from when he went to, guess where? Nigeria. While in Nigeria there was a problem at customs and he needed money. He asked that she send blackberries ans they would be worth more $$ there. I believe she ended up western unioning him money. I finally had her at my house and she showed me the pictures that he had sent to her. I searched through google picture search and came up with the real name of Peter Miller Wilfred, Clive Smither. Clive Smither was a model from the UK. He probably has no idea that someone has stolen his pictures to use as their own. these are some of the fake profiles:
