Hi everyone,
I am writing to warn anyone who decide to do research and search whether or not this website is a scammer, the answer is YES.
Please be aware and don't give out your bank detail. No one ask for that before an interview.
I was sent an email by this company thinking I was lucky to get a job, but unfortunately and disappointingly found out that it was a fraud.
At first I try to convince myself its true but don't want to rush into it so I did some research.
Firstly, there were many problems with this website, the name of the person sending me the email and so on. I will go through it.
1. the partners on the websites - are basically just a link to the website. Have no connection at all.
2. there are many spelling error on the website
3. they claim they have highly educated people working as lecturers for their organization.
4. they claim to won awards - which they copied and pasted from another broker website and just changed the word to "ortonfinance" - they basically did not won anything.
5. the website was created the day before they sent me the email.
6. the buisness registration number does not exist, and another one is not apart of their company.
7. There is no telephone number on the website, address of UK branch
8. The person who sent me the email did not appear on linkedin, therefore no connection.
^ all these reasons prove this website is a fraud. It is very important to never give out any bank information to anyone before an interview or until you get the job for definite and that you have a contract agreement and have signed the P46 etc..
I have no idea why I was picked as a victim, but dont be one.
Please be careful. http://ortonfinance.com
