I received, first, a text message on my phone inquiring about some musical instruments I have been offering for sale and for "my best price" -- a phrase I'd heard before. I responded by email to [email protected]. The party responded by asking for a list of what I had for sale and for a price list. I was suspicious and searched for "Declan Brouder." I was led to this site where I found that "Declan Brouder" lives in Nigeria and has used that name before in attempted scams.
I sent him an email telling him that my brother was a cop and that if I was wrong I apologized. I haven't heard back from Mr. Brouder-- nor do I expect to. Thanks for the heads-up from Scamwarners....
