This romance scam started on Facebook. I was first "concerned" because he has different pictures posted. Two pictures are of the same soldier. the other 8 are of a different guy. I do believe that this guy is involved in the scam as well. He says his name is Anderson Witt but I believe that this is a hijacked page becasue the email attached to the facebook page says Martin Witt. When asked about Martin he says that his friend Martin set it up that way. After 2 days, he claimed he was endlessly in love with me, it was God's destiny to bring us together and in 3 months he wanted to meet. States he's in Afhganastan in as a sergeant but this changes during email exchanges from staff sergeant to major staff sergeant (there is a big difference in the two). I have a received Skype videos from him but he claims that his speakers are not working and that he has to be careful because of the "importance of the mission" he could be compromised. This particular person is Caucasion (on Skype), however, I received a phone call from "Anderson" and it was a deep African voice. 447937629919 is the number from my caller ID. After about 2 weeks, he stated that his business is in trouble. He has gold in Ghana and his lawyer says the the government rules of Ghana have changed and he needs to move his gold or the government will take it. He asked me to keep it for him. I told him that I don't have a place for that type of storage and that his lawyer should transfer from one facility to one with less risk to him. He then stated he was really worried about his gold. It was so much money that he did not want to lose it. After I told him he could not transfer it to me, he said that he would as the military for a 2 week leave of absence to go see about his gold and then take it to New york but he wanted to visit me first. In less than 8 hours, he received permission to fly to Ghana at dawn. When he got there, he had a problem in that he needed help with the transfer of ownership. They were asking for more money than he had and he needed my help getting his gold. I told him that I didn't have extra money. He said he would pay me back as soon as he got to the states. I asked him how could he have money to fly all the way to the states from Ghana but not enough to get his gold. He stated that he had money in the states.
This is a white guy, with a bald head, and a 'chopper' beard. It is very neatly trimmed under his lip but the actual beard is neatly designed more around his cheeks. he has a mole/mark right between his eyebrows and one on the left side of his head. He also wears 2 earring in his left ear.

IP address most recently used is 41.215.160.207

His emails were either extremely well written (I've verified that they came from lovingyou.com) or so bad that I could hardly understand him. I confronted him on this and he went into a routine of "not trusting him" and he can take anything but he can't take doubt". Words like "rejoyce" are used. When giving his history he says he French Canadian (mom, who died of cancer) and American (dad, killed in auto accident). He has 1 daughter, Luna, 13, named after a guy who saved his life in desert storm who is living with his "late wife's brother". Supposedly, his wife died of heart problems.

I still offer my services but not too active and I feel proud for the series of education I have gone through and the rich experience I have had with different cultural environment, travelling to almost every part of the world.

My line of work initially dangerous but knowing was fighting for good society was enough motivation for me.

I attended pre-primary school at the age of 4 for two years in a kindergarten and primary education at Virginia L Murray Elementary in the District of Albarmele County which is a public school in the city of Charlottesville for 4years. As you know each state determines what grade range constitutes primary education so was lucky for years.

I attended South County Secondary school and got my secondary education in grade 7 to 12 and that was when I got my high school diploma qualification and that was when I had a lot of fun and it’s a period in everyone’s age we make a lot of mistakes and enjoy life the most..Lol.

I was in the health physical education department and took a career turn which changed my life entirely.

I was also in the dance team and remember the dress for success day….. It was a lot of fun I think.

I was also allowed to participate in the advanced placement (AP) programme of College Board which also permitted me to take college introductory courses in few selected subjects. I took exams on each AP subject and had a higher score which granted me access to the university but this exam is offered in each academic year.

Guess I am not boring your ears as I hope to open up to you well so that you can appreciate all the stuff about me.

We had a beautiful family my Dad, My Mum .... but my mum was a Canadian and died from Cancer. And dad died after in a motor accident. ( The lost of these important people in my life really caused me down) I was the only child of my parents..


I remember when my Mum was alive during Christmas time we used to have a lot of family reunion, sitting together, eating and drinking and sometimes we have barbecue and invite friends over.

Life is beautiful with people you love around you and it makes you realize its more meaningful that way than material possession with no happiness.

The true meaning of peace is when you are mentally, socially, spiritually and physically free and independent.

Finally I had my postsecondary higher education which is degree for academic credit.

I do love that age it was beautiful with a lot of crushes and sporting activities and all that fun.

Tell me little about that time of your age all the memories and good things you did. Do you remember any funny thing you did?

I will tell you more about my line of work, little details and responsibilities I carry and a lot about my universities experience and where I work.

I got my first degree from the university of Maryland and it was there I begun to see life in a different way and understood that things are never black and white and there world is different.

In fact it’s a place where it has no room for small brains and people need to understand their environment and how it affects them.

I was able to cease the moment and had great deal of lessons which has guided my path and also decision making.

I am also a member of the Maryland Alumni association which is made up of past students.

I was a sports man then and joined the Men’s soccer and also swimming and diving and was a lot of fun.

I have first degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and also had general knowledge in Behavioral and community Health.

I have my master’s degree in political science and also Government and Politics after which I worked for some time before under taking my PhD in economics.

I don’t want to refer to myself as learned person but I enjoyed intellectual exercise and research as I find enough comfort in that.

When I am bored I love to go to the beach and site there quietly and meditate and I feel like a whole new born person.

I enjoyed good meal, having fun, going to the cinema, playing with your partner and having romantic time together and spending every minute of my time with that special person.

I used to visit some of the tourist attraction areas like ‘Eastern Shore’ which is the eastern side of the Chesapeake Bay. The region is characterized by historic towns, beaches and natural areas that draw crowd during the summer. Visit Chestertown, St Michaels, Cambridge, Ocean City or Assateague Island.

Talk about Baltimore Inner Harbor, Maryland Parks, Deep Creek Lake, Strathmore Music Centre in fact it’s a beautiful place to see and hope one day we can go back to those places and it’s a lot of fun to be there.

May be you can tell me about your own too and other beautiful places you would like to be. I know you have been to nice places with Carlos and mom.. And you are even preparing for the South Africa trip with mom..

Hello my dear... I was happy we had a chat ..How are you doing?. Let's see what I can tell you about my self.. I'm just a man who is full of energy and full of love. I do have nine 9 soldiers..who I have control over..they are my "Team"..You can call them my "Squad" as well..I have 3 Sergeants who work under my direct leadership...and I'm responsible for their continued successful development as well as that of other soldiers in my team...That's just a bit about my duty..I do spend most of my time on paperwork in the office.... But when am home I stationed in (Fort Drum ) New York.. I have to let you know that I am on my second mission to Afghanistan and I have already spent 9 months here in Afghanistan but will be home in a few months time.

I fought in the Gulf war in 1990 to 1991. The gulf war was fought to liberate Kuwait from autocratic rule of the late Saddam. I had a pretty bad experience.I am an E-8 Technical Staff Sergeant,Sergeant Petty Officer (SSPO).I also act as a platoon sergeant in the absence of the Sergeant First Class.. My unit is constantly patrolling Fallujahs streets and alleys in search of insurgent activity and illegal arms.,i have partnered with and mentored ANA soldiers through training, joint patrolling and counterinsurgency operations. And My job is battling with bad people who want to kill and bomb people. We some times have special operations which can take us a week or two weeks,But I only work for six hour in the day time so that I can rest and join the my group so that we can patrol in the night....I control M220 Tube-Launched, Its very powerful weapon. I"m always with my boys and Its very hard over here....I"m well committed to my job, My job is about battling and combating and I hope reading this will draw a picture about my job and I know you are going to understand it more..But I"m open for you to ask any question if you dont understand... Now to tell let you know more about my wife,I met a special lady and we got married a year later. I had a very good marriage filled with love and tenderness. Two love bird who only wanted to make each other happy.We were happy and lived a happy life together.We did all our best to go get a child and God gave us one, but if we where not having a child like that could not stop us from being happy. she is the brighter side of my life.I did all I could insuport to her needs and given a helping hand to grub a job, and support the family as well.. In times like holiday and spending time with eachother is something else and she was always testify how romantic I am to her..spending much time with her as much as I could..

My wife passed away in June, 2008. She had been ill 8 years ago with bacterial endocarditis, which is an infection in the heart...They told me we only had about 3-5 years, but, he made it 8. She was beating all the odds, staying healthy and there was absolutely no sign that she was going to pass. In fact, the way they told me that she would pass was not the way she went. Her heart just stopped beating. She was fine and kidding around one minute, went in the rest room, I noticed she was gone a long time, went in there and found her on the floor. I gave her CPR till the paramedics came, we went to the hospital and they told me she was gone. It was literally over in a heartbeat.

They told me it just stopped between beats. It was tough after she passed away. I have been in love before and I know the good things loving a special partner brings into ones life. I miss that nice hug when you need it, the special smile you share, holding hands, kissing, all of it. Sometimes it just feels like your body craves being close to a special partner. I miss being able to put my arms around my woman and put her head on my shoulder. I guess I too am a very physical person. It makes me feel safe, secure and loved. Being alone is a terrible thing to have to endure. i think i will end here . Take care.

It's in the SKYPE messages and Facebook messenger where he starts asking for money to help get his gold from Ghana to US. 2 days ago he asked for $3500. I'm still laughing even though it is no laughing matter.

Get him to tell you how much gold it is.

In my early days a colleague threw me a small packet of gold coins without telling me what it was. It nearly dislocated my shoulder. It's amazingly heavy for its size and scammers don't usually have a clue as regards any practical details. Checking I see that $500,000 is just over 20 pounds and it would make the security scanners at the airport blow a fuse.

This lad has probably never been out of Ghana in his life. He obviously was not educated in Virginia or Maryland or any other of the United States, and though the son of a Canadian may use a Canadian spelling, he would not use other aspects of writing which are clearly West African. Just quit answering him and don't tell him why.

Hello All,

I met this so called Army guy Anderson Witt on Match.com. We had been chatting for a couple of days through IM. I saw his pix once through Webcam and he sent me pixs via email. The pixs are the Caucasion guy that is dressed in Army gear that one of these previous post described. I was also his Beauty Queen and I received some of the exact emails listed here. I contacted Match and reported this. I have also blocked him from my IM and emails. This guy is crazy! The first clue I had that something was not right with him is when he told me he had a house in Miami Beach that was secure and empty until he returned from overseas in four months. Well I checked Dade County records property search and of course he owned no property in Miami and when I confronted him about it he started the whole thing about doubting him. He's wackoo. Stay Away.
