My husband listed his racecar for sale and immediately got an email from Jordan Evans asking to buy it. Luckily I have just put his name into Google and this website listed him as a scammer. By reading the posts, he seems to send the same text in each email. ""Thanks for the mail,i am buying this for my son as his gift because i would not be around to celebrate with him i am a petroleum engineer currently on a rig offshore and due to the nature of my work, phone calls making and visiting of website are restricted but i squeezed out time to check this advert and send you an email regarding it. I really want this item to be a surprise gift for my son so i wont let him know anything about the item until it gets delivered to him,i am sure he will be more than happy with the item.I will make the payment through paypal because i don't have access to my bank account online as i don't have internet banking, but i can pay from my PayPal account,as i have my bank a/c attached to it, i will need you to give me your PayPal email address so i can make the payment as soon as possible for the item and pls if you don't have PayPal account yet,it is very easy to set up, go on www.paypal.com and get it set up ,after you have set it up i will only need the e-mail address you use for registration with PayPal so as to put the money through.I have a pick up agent that will come for the pick up immediately you have receive the payment in full.please get back to me with your last price.
Jordan David "" The email address he uses is [email protected] and sometimes goes by Jordan David but sometimes Jordan Evans. Thanks to this website and my suspicions, we have not lost any money this time. x :=)

i am buying this

SCAM :bondage:

The scammer is spamming this same message blind to hundreds, if not thousands of sellers. It doesn't matter what they're selling and this is why he doesn't state what the item is. This can lead to hilarious situations where he's offering to buy something silly that can't possibly be a gift, but that doesn't matter. If he gets only a few responders the money he steals is all pure profit.

Particularly with a specialist item like yours, if the buyer doesn't ask questions in his response he's either insane or a scammer. Racing cars come in all sizes shapes and types.

Watch out for replies like this where the buyer shows no specific interest in what it is you're selling - it's likely to be a scammer spamming out blanket replies.

CAR ADVERTS - If a car seller mentions escrow - he's scamming you Never ever for any reason pay anything until you have seen and inspected the vehicle

I had a same person with same 'story' for my make up station. He's using email [email protected] as well. he stopped emailing me when I said that he can by my beauty station on Ebay and that I don't want to sell outside of Ebay.
