clearing house scam

I got a call from a 202-557-4707 number says he is holding a package with a check for 150,000 from the publishing clearing house and I should send $1,000 to philip popo in oxon hill maryland to clear it, I am not stupid looks like a scam so i did not send any money please be on the looking for these scammers if they call you.

Google search of the number brings up this interesting bit of information on Mr PoPo.
