Thanks a lot for posting this information. I'm so happy I didn't spend a lot of time for this perason, he's really cruel. After a few days asked to send wmail to his commanadant to get a vacation leave. "Commandant" who has the email address : [email protected](!!!) replied: I acknowledge your email with well noted content of it, and I would like to inform you that no officer are allowed to leave the war camp for no genuine reasons, according to the constitution guiding the US ARMY under section 1 of degree 089/132/US-army.

They are charges required to finance the leave you have requested for and below are the break down and you would follow all terms and arrangement for adequate information's and procedure for a manual leave vacation which will take 4-5 working days for processing and a soldier would be deployed to take position of Sergeant Mark Crowover.

1-3 Months $2,000usd (Two thousand dollars)

3-6 Months $3,555usd (Three thousand five hundred and fifty five dollars)

6-12 Months $5,520usd (Five thousand five hundred and twenty dollars)

The reason why you are required to pay the sum for the leave is to finance the documentation and replacement of a new officer that will replace the current officer Sergeant Mark Crowover that will be deployed home.

You are to chose from the list and get back immediately.

Best Regards

Commandant Brian Humphrey.

He is still asking to send him money... Please girls be careful.

Thanks for posting! There is no such thing as paying for leave, nor does any soldier need anyone outside the military to apply for his leave.

I think he cheated a lot of people under different names. Do you think its possible to catch him while I have him as my friend in a facebook? I guess it is not a problem when police know his IP address.

In short, no. They are not going to go get the scammer. You should not remain FB friends with him. Block him and move on.

Having an IP address does not mean it is easy to catch someone. If that were the case, hackers would be arrested almost immediately and there would be very few scammers out there.

An IP address is not going to automatically lead the police to someone's doorstep. It is very likely that address is shared, and that many users may have that IP at different times. Getting specific user information (if it is possible--if the scammer is using an internet cafe it is most likely not possible) requires a lot of red tape, including search warrants. And even if htey are able to trace an IP to a specific computer or phone-multiple people may share one computer or phone, so the authorities still have to prove which specific individual was the one using the computer when the scams were sent out

Since you are not in the same country as the scammer, your government would have to petition the scammer's government to get their aid in the investigation. This is an expensive, time-consuming process. You have not paid the scammer any money--at this point he is not guilty of a serious crime, and without a significant financial loss, they most likely can't even justify the expense of trying.

As far as whether he cheated a lot of people under different names, the answer is that yes, he probably has. But--there is not just a single scammer out there running the leaave request scam. There are literally hundreds of them, running the exact same scams. Scammers will literally copy eath others' scams if they know others are making money. It takes time and a costly investigation to connect one individual to the scams he/she carried out.
