I want to make you aware of a scammer presenting as US Marine Captain Sean Prieto. He says he is currently in Afghanistan. Spanish/American, both parents deceased, divorced after his wife was unfaithful in their marriage, no children or siblings, with a home in San Diego. In Afghanistan he claims to be a Captain over a team who drive hummers and patrol the military base he is assigned at. He says he also performs in raids co partnering US Intelligence. He says he plans to retire after many years service (claims he is 48 years old and has been a Marine since he was in his late teens) This scammer says as he has no family he would be happy to move to the country in which I live in to be with me. He says he would like to go into real estate upon retirement. This scammer is persistent and would skype me twice a day. Only voice skyping as apparently the high security at his base doesn't permit anyone to have personal phones or skype. He contacted me via Facebook, stating he came across my profile whilst searching for an ex colleague. I refused to accept his friendship request however he persistently private messaged me, eventually asking me to correspond with him on email. Please be aware that this scammer is also known on this site as Sean Pietro. He has many Facebook profiles in the name Sean Prieto, all inconsistent and displaying many photographs.

Thank You for exposing this person. At the beginning of October myself and several other women were given the same or similar stories using the names STEPHEN LARSON, CAMBERLIN HARRIS, CHARLES RUGGLES, JOHANNSON PORTER. I discouraged all romantic advances but was told I was found on Facebook while searching for an ex-army buddy. I have done a lot of detective work on my own and these guys are the same person. He has actually been able to get money from one woman, convinced another women they would become engaged upon his return from active duty, etc. enough to make me want to vomit. This is a horrific disgrace to the many brave men and women who have served and/or been injured and/or died in the service of our country. The language used is always the same; I connected with another woman and we compared notes. If anyone is interested contact me and tell me what the words were, if you can say them without puking, and I can finish each sentence for you. I have been in contact with Homeland Security since some of these "packages" that need to be urgently sent are quite large and require a cargo plane. These are supposedly coming from Afghanistan. I have also reported to the Department of Defense in Washington, DC.
If you know of any other names Homeland Security and the DOD are interested in following up with the FBI.
This is a crime. Please do not be afraid to speak up. You will be guaranteed protection after the arrest(s) and immunity during trial.

There is no package coming from Afghanistan, so there will be nothing that Homeland Security or the DoD can do.

Unfortunately, it is very likely that there will be no arrests or trial - the scammers behind this are based in somewhere like West Africa or the Far East.

Please can you post up the email addresses that these scammers have been using and also examples of the mails that they send so that other victims can find them.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
