Paul Mill, [email protected]

he's using the standard story that he's in the military, a "1SG" who is often sent out on "special missions" to Afghanistan that are classified. He will only communicate via Yahoo IM, and always tracks your IP - he'll actually send it to you via IM to confirm your location. He won't send you any emails directly from his own yahoo account (probably because it's easier to track an IP that way) and only wants to communicate via IM chat. he'll want you to go on cam with him, but will say that he can not get on cam himself because it's against the rules (altho it seems to be okay for him to view you on vid chat, not to mention, continuously chat via yahoo IM while on duty conducting these missions from the control room). when you ask him to get on cam for a chat in his tent during down time, his laptop does not have a web cam or "hear phones". he will not supply a military email or an APO address of a base he's at, won't say which base he's deployed from or to, citing it's a "matter of national security" to all of it. Army emails & APO's are not classified, please do not fall for this. they are not even classified for special ops personnel. Even though he is on a "special mission" he is on IM chat pretty much 24/7, even while in the "control room" leading those "special missions". The phone number that he gave to me went straight to voicemail with the automated "This Magic Jack customer is unavailable" so he's obviously utilizing this to generate & create local numbers after confirming your location from your IP. His FB account has different information than what he was telling me, and a glaringly obvious incorrect & obviously false claim.

I also sent his info to Gaurdian of Valor for them to check out, and they responded that he was a fake and a Nigerian scammer.

Hi everyone,

there are more specifics about the tactics this guy used on me in the Romance Scam section under the post "Brett Hudson" and some tips on how to spot a fake military scammer in general - I personally know many people in the military and even dated a SSG in the Army, so he really picked the wrong mark with me, since I knew what to look out for, what was fake, and what to ask for him to confirm if he really was military personnel.
