Hello

Have just brought 3 x Adobe Acrobat XI Pro off them, paid them on the 28/11/13, they sent a couple of emails on the 29/11/13 saying your download delivery will be sent within 24 hours, and that you can start using your product immediately by downloading the trial version and then enter the serial numbers when they come. They never sent them, tried calling them multiple times (checked the time zones first!!) always goes onto answer phone, tried emailing them...no reply, also tried leaving a comment on their website www.thetechkings.com - but no response from this either. Done a search on them with Google & found that their IP address is in Seoul, Korea. Also found on the Wirlpool forum other people have also been stung by these scammers.

Yet on the website it is telling you 2008 - 2013

Could you post the original email from them with the headers ?

From that we should be able to get the website closed down

Can I ask how you paid for the item ?

If you wish you can email me at

Hi,

I just wanted to make clear that the site above has nothing to do with Techkings.org

We are the original Technology forum that others have made a selling site from and we don't sell anything only help others on a discussion board / Forum with all Technology related issues.

Just to clear that up.

Thanks.

Thank you Techkings!

Unfortunately, it is very common for scammers to use names and even details of legitimate organizations, in order to make their own scams seem more plausible.

It's always good to have the clarification so that people are able to better separate the real from the fake.
