I was approached by this same man he is going by Karl Schmitt..he hasn't asked for money yet but it's something really dodgy about him... His email is [email protected]. He's got a son John. He is living In Los Angeles with a nanny. 'Kar' is in a mission in Afghanistan.

It could be the same scammer, or it could be a different one. At any point in time, there are hundreds (if not thousands) of scammers running the exact same scripts.

But one thing is for certain--it is a scammer. Even that little bit of information confirms it, because the "soldier" is claiming his child is with a nanny. The military has very strict policies regarding single parents with underage children, and leaving the child or children with a nanny is not an option.

The person you are communicating with is dodgy because he is a scammer. He is probably not making any sense to you.

What you have described shows he is a scammer. Military members do not leave their children with Nanny's or tell strangers on the internet that they are on a Mission.

Please post a couple of his initial emails to you. Remember to remove any of your personal information from them.

My philosophy of life is to always try and find the good in people and be open minded. I am a passionate, intelligent, fun loving man who has a touch of class and a young point of view. Have learned to take life as it comes, know who I am and where I am going. I love to have adventures, large or small, and am looking for someone to share them with.

I do think it's important for partners to have individual interests that their partner respects.That will share life with it's routines, adventures, highs and lows. Will plan with me for our future and to grow old together. Taking a long walk together along the beaches...my person habits are,Punctuality, kindness, good listener, loyalty, caring,cleanliness, love of learning, willing to try new things, explore, listen, communicate...and in general just being committed and disciplined...my dear is,Finding my soul mate and live happily ever after, if there is such a thing or it maybe wishful thinking. I want to find that special woman to share my life with. I know that there is a kind, warm and genuine woman who could be my very best friend and I look forward to meeting her. I have a pretty great life right now, but I think it could be even better with a friend and partner to travel with me on the rest of life's journey!
