I received this response after posting on www.nanny-agency.com

Dear Candidate, We need someone to love our little boy as much as we do. He is a wonderful child that is not difficult to take care of but as we both work a lot he needs someone to be there when we are not that we can feel confident is taking good care of him. He loves to go to the park and read books and probably loves television a little too much. He loves the water be it the bath or a pool or just sprinklers. We would love to take a vacation occasionally and bring him with us yet be able to also get some time to ourselves.

We love to laugh and just enjoy our time together. We want someone who feels like part of the family yet enjoys her personal time exploring everything London has to offer.

Send your resume/pictures to us and how soon you can start.

We anticipate your response soon.
Mr Christopher Anderson.

Please advise if this a scam or if its genuine thank you.

I also received this as well after registering on www.nanny-agency.com

Please kindly advise.......

How are you doing, hope you are having a wonderful time and i hope this mail finds you in good health. I am a British Lady and a single parent named Pamela, I am living and working in London as a doctor.

My best friend recommended me to look for an Au pair who will take good care of Victoria my only daughter. My friend advised me to search for an Au pair through www.nannyagency.com because she was very lucky to employ an Au pair whom she selected from the site and she suggested the Au pair site to me and advised me to try the experience because she is comfortably living with her Au pair so i have i decided to select you from the Au pair site www.nannyagency.com believing that it is going to be a wonderful experience and to the best of Victoria's comfort and exchange of culture as she grows.I have my own house here in London so your accommodation will not be a problem, i am living comfortably with Victoria therefore all i want from my new Au pair is to take Victoria like a sister and take good care of her as well.

I hope i have made the right choice by selecting you, believing that you will not disappoint me. If you are interested and willing to join us as Victoria's Au pair then kindly get back to me, i will be so glad to receive your positive response. Looking forward to hear from you soon.

Kind regards.
Pamela

Hello Sisane, unfortunately, both of those are scam emails. Without letting too much be known, scammers do read this forum occasionally, the language, and the format of the letters are common to scammers targeting prospective au-pair people.
Next they will ask you to contact a travel agency, then the requests for money will start, to cover immigration/insurance/fares etc.

Sorry, but you are advised to ignore these two.
