Hi Terfidia

Welcome to Scamwarners

I am sorry but I am not quite sure I understand what has happened here.

I am guessing you have received an offer (after an online add or into your email) which you replied to.

You asked if these people could view the property and made an appointment to do so

When you turned up there was nobody to greet you.

So far this does not sound like a scam, a prank perhaps at the worst or potential tennants who have changed their mind but I dont see the scam here.

Have you discussed how they will be paying the rent, if it is a scam I am guessing it would be a cheque type scam where you will be paid with a cheque for more than the required amount of money and asked for a refund.

With the amount of information there is no way to know.

The only thing marking this as a potential scam is that the occupation used by "Abe" is a common occupation that scammers use.

Could you please PM me any emails you have received and i can take a closer look.

Something else that may be of interest is the email header from the emails you have received, if you dont know how to find the headers please let us know which email provider you use (gmail/hotmail/yahoo/ect) and we can give you specific instriuctions

Meanwhile, I will remove the name and email address in case they are not the details of scammers
