Au Pair Scam

I registered on the website aupair.com only some months ago and got a text in facebook from someone who clamied to be Mrs Sandra Martins (https://www.facebook.com/st.wright.9?fref=ts&ref=br_tf). She said she saw my profile on aupair.com and would need an aupair soon. She asked for my email address and we started texting each other. I should have noticed sooner that she wasn't interested in me because she didn't really want to know anything about me. She told me to contact her agency and gave me an email address. The agency does actually exist, it's Go Aupair. But of course it was only someone who claimed to work there. The "agency" told me to send 1600$. I really did. After that (it was september) they said to send 2000$ more because of a new law that said every aupair/nanny has to pay that amount because most aupairs only want the visa but never arrive at the familys home but you will get the money back once you arrived at your familys home. I also did pay that amound via western union but after that took the money back because i realized somethings wrong.. too late but still.. luckily I didn't lose the 2000$ as well.

I appreciate your reply on Facebook and your interest in my family. Here is more about my family. I am a married woman. It is my personal interest to learn other country's culture and language so i am certain we can be a very good family for our au pair if she is committed to her duties which is to take good care of our kids and helping them in growing positively. We take care of our au pair as our own. My husband's name Haggett and he works with the US army so he hardly stay home with us because they are often out of the country for several missions. same slightly applies with me, i work most of the time but i always come home, i sometimes work night shift because i am a professional nurse. I hardly have time with my kids so this is the most important reason i and my husband need an au pair in our home to help us look after our kids. We have 3 kids, namely Jasmine who is the eldest, she will be 8yrs late November, Nicole comes after her, she turned 6yrs in January and Dave our last son is 4yrs.

We reside in Manhattan Beach, California situated in southwestern Los Angeles County, California, USA.. Manhattan Beach is a beachfront city and it is considered one of the most expensive city in the state. It also has most tourist attraction center's. You can google more about Manhattan city, California if it interest you to know it very well, am certain google will give you a very good description of our city. My kids all attend the same school so that will mostly easy your duty of picking them up from different school. We adore are kids and they are the most important source of our happiness so if they are being treated well then our au pair will be adored as much.Jasmine and Nicole are both friendly but very playful, dave is equally growing as playful as them but they are intelligent and wise. They get along easily and they do most of their school works together, they are also creative. Jasmine enjoy swimming and she loves dancing while Nicole have passion for singing, she swims as well. I am a reserved person so i dont often go out but my kids so much enjoy going out. When i take them out, they both love seeing animals so they often go to the zoo and recreation center. We have a very nice weather here but it is often warm, sunny in springs. Our environment is full of creative and famous musicians, widely know actors and sport athletes also reside in our environment.

We go out alot when my husband is home, so we often dine in the same locations with sport & movie celebrities. We socialize alot with people and also get along in a very good way. You wont have much to do besides looking after the kids, Waking our kids, dressing them, bathing and playing games with them, Preparing meals for the children, tidying their belongings, making their beds and doing their laundry, Driving the children to or from school appointments and activities, Caring for and watching the children while they are asleep when we are not at home, Sharing a part of home country with the children through games, storytelling, cooking, language and love then assist them with school works. I also assist them with school activities when i am home but when i work night shift you will be compensated very good for assisting them through the night, i am mostly available on weekends so i get to spend time with the kids. We will make weekends available as your off days so that you can also be free and get to go wherever you would want atleast to the city round or get to shop for your ladies things.

We plan to pay you monthly the sum of $1300, we will also be giving you &90 every week so that you can have your own money to buy things that you may personally need. You are open to discuss this with me anytime. We also intend to assist you if you are educationally driven as there are many university of high standard around us. Many of the au pair in our environment enroll themselves in university for short course and that also help them to improve that english. In our home we have a private room with private bath for our au pair, we also have computer with internet and telephone in the room so that you can connect with your family often to ensure them that you are living good.
