I'm really sorry this post is so long, but i thought something in it might help someone else

Hi, i'm probably one of the lucky ones, i copped on pretty early to what was going on.
It all came to a head last night when i recieved an email from the man in question trying to explain himself. Something about the way the email was written got me suspicious and i copied and pasted the first paragraph and googled it. This site came up and there in all its glory was the same email, dated June 5th. I started searching online and found two other sites which had similar emails on.
Here is the email that was sent to me yesterday which i was told by the sender had been written that morning.

i guess you should read and know and if you still feel am a con man dont contact me,you are beautiful?

I work for a company that designs cooling systems for agricultural tractors, but after many years of doing the corporate thing, he decided to be his own boss and then he did a little of everything, mainly involved in the projects surrounding the conversions of gas stations into handling gas with more than 10% ethanol which was more like a family business I was involved in it as well even with my construction educational background. Something that interests me is good for the environment and of course with anyone paying attention to the price of gas now days, very lucrative as well.
Now that I am in West Africa I used the opportunity to purchase mechanical parts for an agricultural cooperative (Farm Bureau if they ask, but don’t offer this information unless pushed). There is a lot of oil there and with the lack of infrastructure resources; they are very creative in the utilization of their main resource… Oil. The project would involve bringing equipment to the U.S that would be used to make the proper adaptations to the current technology, so gas stations can sell gas with more than 10% ethanol. Unfortunately, we have the resources, but due to political interests in the government and the domestic oil industry, there isn’t a lot of work being done around this and as you can imagine the Agriculture Industry is very interested in the development of these stations, so their production of corn will increase and therefore, their profits. To me, it’s a win situation all around. We all win and the environment is protected as well. I am not one of those “green earthy” people, but if I can do my part and make money at the same time, why not? Cumberland Farm stations would probably be one of the first to go with the new project, but of course we would love to target the sell of this to others like Marathon and Racetrack..... it will be a while before the big guys like Shell, BP, Texaco and Mobil come on board… Too much money to be made with ethanol and that would be money out of their pockets. If you would like to read more on it, you can log on to http://www.ethanol..org/ it is very interesting... I think anyway. I have purchased 10 pump adapters for the fusion of gasoline and ethanol at a 25% ratio. The current amount of ethanol being used in the US is 10% and this would make the price of gas in the stations that service with them, decrease by at least 10% since they will need to keep about 5% of the profits to cover for the initial expense of setting this up, which will take each station about a year to recover their initial investment. Each pump adapter is $20,000.00 and I have purchased them all with my own money.
However, now I am facing the cost of the container in which it will be shipped to the US, which I was originally told, I would have to pay once the container is in the US since I was sharing the container with another company because the size of the pumps did not occupy a full container. Now I am being told not only I need to have my own container, but I need to pay for the shipping in advance and have 7 business days to complete the transaction or they will start assessing storage charges for each additional day of $1,000.00 and if I don’t pay that, I can’t even get my equipment back to try and store somewhere else until I have the additional funds. My problem is that all my capital is now invested in this and since I work as an independent contractor, I will not get another advance on the project until at least 20% of the stations have been set up, in other words two stations. I know it will only take me about a week or a week and a half once I am there to make the adaptations to one gas station, so in a matter of two or three weeks, I would be collecting another large sum of money.
In the mean time, I have the cost of the shipping to pay ($35,000) and of course the appropriate exporting taxes I need to pay which should be about 8% of the value of the equipment (about $16,000). My construction company are paying for my stay here so I do not have to spend extra cash on trying to stay here and a way of mobilizing in the city so I can continue to try and get this shipment out of the port. So I would not need 51K, just the 50K but if I am faced with having to pay for daily storage I don’t know how I will get the equipment out to the US and face to be in breach of my contract with the bureau.

I met BEN CONNELLY just a week ago on 'Match.com' we talked for a week, he was very charming. Told me he was German but lived in Dublin. He was working in Nigeria at the moment, divorced, two kids who he had full custody of. On monday evening we were on MSN and he said how miserable he was, i asked him if he wanted to talk about it, first he said no, i pushed a little, and he said how he was having problems with finding the money to get a container shipped. We carried on talking for a few minutes and then suddenly he asked 'are you going to help me' alarm bells started ringing. I told him i didn't have any money if that was what he was looking for. He stopped talking, i signed out of MSN.

Yesterday i sent him this email.
Men always wonder why women think so little of them. I always thought it was sad that all men were clubbed together under the same image. There are some decent men out there. I was married to one of the best, and i chose well. He treated women with respect and i returned that respect. Its a shame that a small minority think they can trick and cheat their way through life and try to use anyone who crosses their path. You Ben picked on the wrong women. I may be slightly lonely but i am not stupid. When my husband died he left a thriving business which i still run today. He also left a quite sizable insurance policy, which means my children and i are secure for all our lives. I didn't join match.com to find someone to take care of me financially, nor did i want to meet someone who would think i was their meal ticket, which is why i didn't fill in some of the sections. My bank balance is very healthy, and i intend it to stay that way. Sadly i have the awful feeling that the next women you wink at may not be as sensible and astute as to turn you down. I will however make sure no-one on the site ends up being conned by you.
NICE KNOWING YOU BEN

I then emailed match.com with my suspicions.

Yesterday evening i was online and he logged on and asked 'why did you send me a suck email' the following conversation occurred.
