Hello, i was a fool to believe that a job like that was real, ok so i did one moneygram to a "orphanage" on egypt and i was a little worried so i told the guy that couldn't do anymore because i had to travel but he told me that he already had sent another check so I did that one again for 1000 dollars for the same person. And now i told the guy that i wont do it anymore and now he wants the 400 dollars that he gave me. And he wants me to deposit again to the egypt person. What can i do? Please help! Do you think that if i don't do it someone will come to my house? Because he has my address, i will be waiting a response, thank you.

Don't send him anymore money transfers . Notify your bank if you deposited any of his checks or money orders . They will be fakes .

Also notify your police department . this is a money mule scam .

I see three choices. Follow previous advice or go on your on.

1: Keep depositing fraudulent checks and sending your money to the scammer.

Outcome: Legal fee's and possible jail time.

2: Stop all contact with the scammer and notify your bank you are a victim of fraud.

Outcome: Seen as a victim. Yes, you will have to repay the money back to your bank.

3: Do nothing.

Outcome: Please see #1.

And what i can say to that person That wants the money he paid me?. Because i heard that those people are not in the USA, the thing that im afraid is that if they can go to my house and do something because i didn't pay him the 400 dollars.

Bryon has given you the only 3 options you have.

Say nothing to that person - you are in enough trouble as it is. Stop communicating with the scammer, do not tell him anything else. Drop all contact with him and go to your bank and the police before they come looking for you. The scammer will merely move on to his next victim.

Ok so i guess i will block that guy because he will keep sending messages. And go to the bank and tell them about the fraud. How long it will take for the bank to know that is a fake check?

Tell the banks fraud dept. you are a victim of an employment scam. Printout or show them the emails.

You will also need to be pro-active and do the same with your local law enforcement.

As to how long. This is a question for your bank.

Actually, that's the bank's money. The fake checks you've already deposited and withdrawn money on will have to be paid back to the bank. Your bank will tell you everything you need to do, just make sure you emphasis that you are a victim.

From the barely literate wording of the email , I can tell it was written by someone in West Africa . We need the email addresses he is using , along with any phone numbers .
