I want to talk about fraud, which in those days I met when I watched the most popular job sites in the UK.That others should also be carefully!!!
I received the following e-mail from Corinthia Hotel London manager.

First e-mail from Corinthia Hotel London:

Being an EU citizen you will not be needing a visa to travel to the UK, but you will need a residence/work permit to work here in the UK.If the screening team deem you fit for the job, our company contract letter will be sent to you which will stand as an evidence that the company as offered you employment. You will be required to sign and send a copy of the signed contract letter to us and a copy to the British immigration services via there email address([email protected]) they will then furnish you with residence/work permit application form which you will have to fill and send back to them with details of payment of the said fees for the work permit as an email attachment.This is the only fee you will incure in the processing of your residence/work permit application.The company have liase with the British immigration services to ensure that all residence/work permit application coming in, in the name of the hotel should be treated fast as we now have limited time.

I notice that the phone numbers begin with +44 (0) 70. Like all phone numbers which begin +44 (0) 70, or +4470, these are not normal UK telephone numbers; they are redirect numbers, and they will redirect all calls to the scammer's mobile phone in another country.

The email address for the British Immigration Service is also fake, and is another email address belonging to the scammer or one of his scammer colleagues. @consultant.com is a free webmail address available from mail.com - and free webmail addresses are certainly not used by UK Government departments!

If it was sent as a doc or pdf file, you may need to 'zoom out' (reduce the size) and take a screenshot first, and then save this as an image file (eg jpg). wow! I just got the same emails from Mr. smith lol....I even called the hotel to find out if a Mr. smith works there so I could inform him that persons are acting on his behalf but I was told he's not in office. Anyone who wants a job at Corinthia Hotel can visit their website.

• All leave applications must be made in writing and at least seven (7) days in advance and shall be approved at the absolute discretion of The Corinthia Hotel, London.
• You are under the obligation to abide by the United Kingdom Laws while in London.
• This letter of appointment shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.




JOB PROCEEDING/REQUIREMENT
• Work Hours: Mondays through Fridays, Time: 7.00am to 3:55pm with break period of 2hrs hours only, beginning from 12.00noon to 2.00pm. Fridays are work free day for our Muslims Employees.
• Employees shall also be entitled to over-time allowance if their work time exceeds the official stipulated hours. Salary shall be liable to increments with time and employees' official promotions and position in service.



GRANTS & LOANS
• OLD SCHEME HOUSING LOAN: One (1) year service to The Corinthia Hotel, London is required for eligibility. Starter’s amount will be £15,000.00 GBP can be re-paid within ten (10) years with 5% interest.




• LIEU CAR LOAN: All Employees are eligible to apply. Starter’s amount will be £5,500.00 GBP can be re-paid within five (5) years





• TRAFFORD BUSINESS LOAN: All Employees are eligible to apply starter’s amount will be £10,000.00 GBP to £30,000.00 GBP annually.



LEAVE PERIOD
• Employees are entitled to (2) times leave in a year, the duration of the leave is one month each. Employee will receive £1,250.00 GBP take home for each leave period.



FEEDING & ACCOMODATION
• Employee is expected to reside at The Corinthia London Hotel’s Housing Estate for a period of one (2) yearS, whereby the hotel management would be responsible to take care of the employee’s accommodation fees while the employee will pay for the registration fees of his/her accommodation.



• Employee is entitled to take meals free of charge at the general staff canteens. Dietary option, customized cooks and dieticians are available options



MEDICAL/HEALTH
• Employer will provide the employee with comprehensive health care for the term of contract and follow-on care for injuries suffered during the term of contract for employee and family.
• Employee shall be entitled to comprehensive health care services, which are to be administered by medical experts on job locations.
• In a case of emergency situation, an Employee will be flown to his home country or any country suitable for the best medical attention. This decision can be influenced by the findings of The Corinthia Hotel, London medical experts, unless the Employee in question states otherwise.

NOTE: THIS INFORMATION IS FOR NON-EU AND EU-CITIZENS

• As a NON-EU Citizen, you would require a Visa and a Residence Work Permit, so as for you to enter and be eligible to work here in the UK. The Corinthia Hotel, London management would be responsible to pay for your Visa and Flight Ticket, but you will have to bear the charges which would be used for the processing of your Residence Work Permit as stated below.

Foreign Affairs Certificate: £100.00

• As an EU Citizen and a Member of the EEA, you do not require a Visa and Work Permit to enter and work in the UK. The Corinthia Hotel, London management would be responsible to pay for your Flight Ticket, but there are other necessary documentations you might need and this would be discussed with you by Her Royal Majesty And Custom Office here in London.

You should also note that your employment here at The Corinthia Hotel, London, would be considered under the TIER 2 CASES work permit application scheme and your are entitled to work for a period of 60 months (i.e. 5 years) or above if you which to extend your employment here at The Corinthia Hotel, London or with some other company/organisation and the minimum period of your contract is for one (1) year.

It’s your job to keep the customers happy so they keep buying
pints. Making sure the pub/bar runs without a hitch, you’ll also be
