Though as I thought I was able to submit my last reply here, I was going to say he actually was able to pay some amount to me even if it wasn't complete for the service rendered and for what was agreed upon. And even if it was kind of a bit late, he actually paid an amount at least.

If you received a check from them, it is a fake. If money was wired to you, it's money from other victims. Do not cash any check and do not pick up any funds. You need to file a report with your local police if they truly sent you money.
