Welcome to ScamWarners canivari and jurgenpie. These are scam scripts used by two "different" scammers. The documents they send will be forgeries and you will be putting them into your account and sending your money by Western Union to them. The problem is the bank will determine that they are forgeries after you have sent your money. At the minimum, you will be stuck owing the bank for the money you sent and any fees charged due to over draft of your account.

At worst, you will be charged with passing forged banking instruments, still owe the bank the money and fees and have a nice criminal record. The scammer will have spent the money and will be on to the next victim. It is not a real job.

Hi all, another name and company:

Welcome xxxxx xxxxxxxx,

When going through a career search, there are a lot of opportunities... but what's the best one for you? I'm sure you've looked at many companies and jobs. It can be tough to find the best match and what you'll be happiest doing. We are currently looking for a company representative in your area.

Though your work history may not be an exact(previous job-wise)match, I think maybe we'd be a good fit. You don't need any extra skills or experience. The on-line training is provided to assist you in maximizing your earning potential. Your earnings after the first year, with advances and bonuses, could range from 25,000 GBP to 40,000 GBP.

If you are motivated to build a career and independent lifestyle over the next 4-5 years, we can offer you the home-based position of Electronic Payments Processor. Contact us at [email protected] apologize for using a Gmail account and not a company one, it is necessary to avoid getting SPAM letters that can damage our system. You will find out why so many business customers are choosing us.

Our representatives will contact you from our corporate e-mail domain within the next 2 business days.

Thank You,

HR Manager

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your reply and interest in a part-time position with SMART LLC.

I’m sorry for using Gmail in my previous e-mail, however, we are required to use Gmail every time we are contacting new people, due to SPAM problem we had recently. In the future please e-mail me at [email protected]

The main strategic aim of our company is to provide quick, easy, efficient and secure ways for businesses to outsource services locally, nationally and globally, to maximize their competitive advantage and cost effectiveness.

The goal of our company is to ensure both, the most reliable security level and simplicity of use and availability.

For the most part what the job requires is for someone to be available Monday through Friday, 9 to 11 am. Your main job would be monitoring your on-line Task Manager, which you’ll create on our site once you’re employed. Once the funds enter your account, your supervisor will notify you and assign you your tasks for the day. At this point you would go to your bank, withdraw the funds and transfer them using Western Union or Money Gram, as instructed by your supervisor. We provide quick, easy, efficient and secure ways for businesses to out source services locally, nationally and globally to maximize their competitive advantage and cost effectiveness.

You would always be aware of where the funds are coming from and where they are going. In today’s world of commerce, especially with our international clients, making regular wire transfers using international banks could take up to 15 days, which is not an acceptable form of payment to our clients.

Base salary £1,500 is paid at the end of probationary period (Once employed on the regular basis, base salary £1,800 is paid on the last business day of the month) via wire transfer to your bank account. Commission 8 should be deducted from money received. Your commission will be deposited along with every transfer. We will let you know how much of the amount deposited is your commission and how much needs to be transferred, all fees are paid from money received.

Each Payment Processing Agent is provided with employment benefits after successful completion of probationary period (30 days).

The employment benefits include:
- Stock options;
- Retirement Options;
- Flex-Time;
- Health & Dental;
- Professional development programs

Some important facts:

1. You don't need to invest your own money to get started;
2. This is not a sales position. While employed with us, you are guaranteed a Base Salary as well as commission per task processed;
3. Each remittance will be accompanied by an invoice ensuring legality of transaction.

If you are interested in the offered vacancy or have any questions please contact us at [email protected]

We appreciate your time and sincerely hope to see you in SMART LLC team!

Hi Meg,

This is most definately a scam. What they want you to become is a money mule; they ask you to launder money but make it sound like a normal job.

I quote from the US government http://www.ic3.gov/media/2010/WorkAtHome.pdf :
Example of a Work-From-Home Scheme:
• An individual applies for a position as a rebate or payments processor through an online job site or through an unsolicited email.
• As a new employee, the individual is asked to provide his/her bank account information to his/her employer or to establish a new account using information provided by the employer.
• Funds are deposited into the account that the employee is instructed to wire to a third (often international) account. The employee is instructed to deduct a percentage of the wired amount as their commission.
• However, rather than processing rebates or processing payments, the individual is actually participating in a criminal activity by laundering stolen funds through his/her own account or a newly established account.

In February 2010, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) coordinated with state law enforcement officials and other federal agencies to announce a sweeping crack down on job and work-from-home fraud schemes fueled by the economic downturn. Individuals who are knowing or unknowing participants in this type of scheme could be prosecuted.

The website is a very common template for job scams and will be reported. Ignore all of their future emails, as there is no such company and the job does not exist.

I wouldn't worry too much about the fact you gave them your details. In almost all cases those details are asked just because that's what a real employer would do. They do it to sound legitimate.

Hello to everyone,
just replied to this scam (Jason Graham ). Sent my CV with details. Hope his gmail account is suspended and those w*****s are caught... Now, the Q is, should I start to worry (because of my stupidity)? Also got a lottery scam,but that was clear to me,so didn't bother...
by Con Warner Tue Sep 27, 2011 4:29 pm
Welcome to ScamWarners aspot72 : )
Please post the email address that he used along with the emails.
We don't want his gmail account to be suspended as he will just open another one. If the one he uses isn't killed and is posted here, then other people might see it and not become victims. ;)

Don't worry about him having your CV, as he only asked for it as a real employer would have done so. As he would have offered you the "job" anyway, he won't even have bothered to read it.

Konstantin Sokolov
HR Senior Manager
UBC Software Labs

I followed up telling him I could find no listing for his company anywhere on the net.

He replied with another letter with a URL for a website for a mining software company. http://ubcsoftware.com I read through the site and found a few typos which raised a red flag for me, then I read about the software and thought to myself "What idiot would buy this service?" so I figured it must be some kind of scam. The last straw was the end of the second letter:

If you are glad about the job characteristics and benefits we offer, please send a reply to this e-mail confirming your willingness to start working with us and within two business days you will be sent a standard employment agreement.

That just rubbed me the wrong way for some reason.

I have never seen this kind of scam before, so it took me by surprise.

So watch out for Konstantin Sokolov or UBI Software Labs.

This site ubcsoftware.com is registered for only one year and has a template I've seen on a previous scam site. It will be reported for fraud.
