I have received this email yesterday from email '[email protected]'. From the start I thought it was a scam cause I have got a few strange emails when I have been looking for a flat before and now I am very careful when I see something that seems impossible like this message. I just typed the job title and found this website about scammers.

Welcome to ScamWarners karolinaw86. Yes, that is a scam. The checks are forged and would only lead to trouble if you were to deposit them into your account.

Please post the email address the scammer was using to send out this message. Often people find scams by the email address the scammers uses.

Desperate people often fall for these scams. They don't know it is a scam. I am glad that you realized it was a scam and posted it here. Please give us the email address the scammer used.

Yes a money laundering scam BlaineW. It wouldn't last 2 weeks and you will get nothing- only irate people and policemen looking for you. Your bank account would be cleaned out as the bank seek repayment for the false cheques etc. You would have a fraud millstone around your neck. Well avoided and glad you realised it.

Thanks to Scamwarners I was able to stop the scammer on his tracks before he scammed me out of my money.

I first received an email stating that my resume been accepted and my interview time was at 8am on my time with Mr. Paul Dennis. I was instructed to download Instant massager and to add Personnelsdesk01 so I can start my interview right away. This is how the convo went....

The most revealing piece of information comes at the end with the word 'OLOSHI' :wink:

It's Yoruba for 'fool' and in calling you that he reveals that he's a Nigerian.

Sounds like he's the fool and you rattled him enough to make him drop his guard.

I received same e-mails although different named companies. Funny how when I have queried details with them of part time hours and location they haven't got back to me yet. I wonder why! 1. LIABILITIES OF THE PARTIES

1.3. The Parties bear responsibility for non-performance or inadequate performance of their liabilities in the context of the present Agreement in accordance with the governing law of the UK and with respect of the provisions of the present Agreement.











2. FORCE MAJEURE

2.1. Neither Party shall be liable for any delay or nonperformance of any provision of the present Agreement due to force majeure circumstances arising after the date of conclusion of the Agreement.
2.2. The following circumstances shall be acknowledged as force majeure events: fire, explosion, flood or other natural and industrial catastrophe; terror; warfare; strikes or labor difficulties; other unforeseen or precluded circumstances preventing the Parties to follow their liabilities stipulated by the Agreement.
2.3. The Party shall notify the other as promptly as practicable, but no later than 3 (three) working days of the occurrence of a force majeure event herewith. Failure or the delay to notify the other Party of force majeure events shall not release the Party from its liabilities hereunder.

Because the scammers are producing these websites on a production line they easily make mistakes.

Unfortunately when they change the location of the country where they pretend to be located they aren't always accurate in changing the other details.

If the company is located in the USA as claimed then regulation by the Financial Services Authority, which is a UK regulatory body, is irrelevant. If you are going to be performing regulated duties on their behalf, then either the company will have to have an office in the UK and be regulated, otherwise you will need to be regulated. Of course with an office in the UK they don't need anyone to be their employee there.

The scammers really don't have much clue what they're doing.

To show that they aren't even reading what they're doing they then state that the "company has subsidiary enterprises in: USA, France, Japan, Spain, Germany." They don't need a subsidiary office in the USA if that's where their head office is.
