One more thing when they transfer the money to my bank account,
There most be an address where they send the money from.

1. company
2. bank name
3. person name who send the money.
4. transfer ID etc.

Police can trace them from where the money send from.

Are they use fake ID to send the money?

How they can send cash to bank account without sign up latter.
And without passport or ID ?

Dotti wrote:This is a scam even without fake checks. In a bank transfer variation of the same basic scam, they will transfer money to your bank account directly from a victim's account. The scam is pretty simple and usually works one of two ways:

Method 1:
a)Scammer phishes victim's account info or buys stolen account (or credit card) info.
b)scammer logs into victim's account (or credit card) and transfers money into your bank account.
c)When you receive money, you withdraw and send to scammer via WU.
d)Scammer picks up money with fake ID
e)victim discovers the theft, and contacts the authorities.
f) The police trace the money to you.
g) The police cannot trace the original scammers, who used all fake information, but you can still be arrested as an accomplice.

Method 2
a)scammer places fake ad for an apartment for rent or item for sale. In reality scammer has nothing to offer.
b)scammer convinces renter/buyer to pay by bank transfer--into your account.
c)When you receive money, you withdraw and send to scammer via WU.
d)Scammer picks up money with fake ID
e)victim discovers there is no apartment/item/etc. and contacts police.
f) The police trace the money to you.
g) The police cannot trace the original scammers, who used all fake information, but you can still be arrested as an accomplice.

The money will not be coming from the scammers, it will be coming from other victims. Either because the scammer has stolen their banking details or because the scammer has persuaded them to send you money as part of another scam.

The scammer will remain remote from the transfer of money, and rely on victims to do it so that they remain untracable.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

The site was reported to its hosts as fraudulent and the hosts have acted on the report and suspended it because of this.

Hey All,

I came to know of this place via google as I was searching about this Mass FX company. I have received the same type of emails, but from 'Amy' as opposed to 'Linda' lol. They got to me via Jobsite so I thought they must have been legit, plus they just seemed to answer my questions even though I thought there was supm fishy about the whole transferring via my personal account thing.

But anyway, I wanted anyone of yal's opinion on what I should do now..Becuz! - I actually gave them my bank details (Account name, account number, sort code and bank name) and also my home address. I've also sent them a hand signed contract that they had sent me!

I am just so depressed cuz I was actually excited about this lol. So what do yal think I should do now? Cuz like what if they send me money and its from a victim's account as you guys say?! I can't be a part of that..fuckin scumbags. Any advise will be appreciated..thanks!

Notify the fraud department of your bank of what has happened. Be prepared to show them the emails--you have done nothing wrong, so you have nothing to worry about.

Make sure you ask them what precautions can/should be taken (changing account numbers, blocking incoming transfers, etc.) and ask them what to do if the scammers are able to transfer money before actions are taken.

Today the guy ffrom the company massfx called masashi Noda emailed me below:

There is very little that they can do with the details that you have sent them.

The best thing for you to do now is just to ignore all further communication with them. Don't tell them you know they are scammers, just block their emails.

Hi, I've also had this email sent to me but from the name Helen Taylor. I thought it was strange because of the clumsy misspellings and lack of contact details, etc. However I've sent them my scanned Passport copy. Can they do anything with this? If they can't at least no harm had been done so far, thankfully. This is so disgusting, targeting unemployed people like this! So you recommend just blocking their emails?
Many thanks :) .
