hi I receive an email from aupairconnect.com
is this a scam?

Dear Aupair,

We are pleased to inform you that we are considering having you as our
new aupair to take care of our 2 lovely kids. We are based in London,
United Kingdom and if you are keen to join us you must be ready to
travel to London.

To know you better, we have drafted some questions below, kindly
answer all and give us as much details as possible. This will help us
know you better and convince us to entrust our kids to your care.



Your Full name ?

Your Age ?

Your Country of Location and Nationality ?

Your Mobile/ Cell phone number(s) ?

What is your father's occupation ?

What is your mother's occupation ?

Describe your family and the relationships that you have with family members ?

Have you discussed your decision to spend time abroad ?

Explain what your family thinks about the idea ? Whether they support
you or not and why ?

Have you ever spent time away from your family other than holidays?

List your interests, hobbies or musical instruments you play ?

Tell us about your personality and lifestyle ?

Have you ever been arrested for a crime / traffic violation : Explain ?

If you go to a family of another religion than yours how will you deal
with this situation ?

Describe how you envision your host family to be like ?

How do you intend spending your free time with a family ?

What compensation and benefits do you expecting ?

If after a few weeks you find the position is not working out, how
would you deal with it ?

Do you have any health concerns that a host family should be aware of ?

Once we get the answers to the above questions, we will give you a
call on your specified Mobile number to finalize our decision in
having you as our new Aupair.

If the scammer has pictures of you, I am sorry but there is no chance of getting them back. If they did by some chance send them back to you, it's guaranteed they'd keep copies of them for future use in related and unrelated scams.

Scammers steal pictures from all over the internet, with the sole intention of using them in their scams. Scammers have been known to use photos; from natural photos stolen from people's Facebook profiles; to terminally ill patients; to US servicemen - many of which have been KIA. They have no morals or scruples; the pictures are simply a tool used to lend credibility to their story, whatever it might be. They don't care who the picture is of, whether they're alive or dead; only that they will serve a purpose in their own fictitious stories.

Hello Winzoe,

Could you also post the email address which this scammer is using? Many au pairs google the email addresses of potential host families, and if they then find this warning about this scammer, it will prevent them from having their money stolen by him.
