When you leave digits out of phone numbers . They become fakes . At least from my perspective .

+82.xxx is written like an incomplete number in South Korea . Without a ONE {1} its not a USA number .

And because everything in the domain registrations is supposed to be 100% correct , it is therefore fake .

Good point. I asked ICANN to have the registrar check.

I was contacted by this group with the same email. I actually had a phone "interview" with Sarah Polonsky and received the "contract". I did a follow up to her and asked about would happen when I go out of the country in December and she told me that I would need to have someone cover for me during that time. I figured that out and submitted the contract on Monday. Today I called and the number rings a few times and then goes busy. The website for them is on longer online either.
