If it was a real job, you would have been provided with a contract, you would take that to the British Embassy as proof that you have a job in the UK, so that they can consider you for a visa. No visa or work permit applications are done by Travel Agents.

In reality, you would not be getting a visa for a job like this anyway - the UK has no need to employ people from outside the UK/EU area for non-skilled jobs, so you wouldn't be eligible unless you fitted the narrow criteria of one of the youth visas.

You can not be employed in the UK. It is a scam. Stop all contact with the scammer. He is a thief/criminal. His goal is to steal from you. He will lie, cheat and use religion to do this.

This is why it is called an advance fee fraud/scam. They want you to pay money for something that is not real. You do not pay a future employer to be employed.

Only the Embassy can get you a visa. If it was a real Company they will follow the rules.

If you send them money, they will continue to ask for more money for various reasons. You will stop sending money when you realize it is a scam or go broke.

You need to apply to the embassy or consulate of the country you're visiting in the country where you are. I'm not going to say more as I don't want to educate scammers about the correct procedure. Sometimes they pretend to be the embassy instead of a travel agent.
