Is this a scam or not? IF ITS A SCAM PLEASE TRACK THEM DOWN

Thank God I found this forum and confirmed that they are scam.
At first I cannot find any information on google about them so I decided to work for one night (5pm-2am Manila time) but I really have doubts and bad vibes so I emailed the "agency" as they call themself.. And asked them what is my assurance that I will get paid for the job, then they just reply "Cont work 100%".. Well I believe no professional individual will just email in a short cut words. Then they gave me a trunk line number and they said I need to send 30 pesos load to register it will be use on my future task. So I copy and paste the trunk line number 0928 139 0079 google search bar and BOOM!! I found this forum and decided to join and share the other email addresses they're using.

Email address they use to send me trunk line info: [email protected]


Same email messages, and when I asked them I didn't violate any rule so why I have to load the trunk line, and if registration is needed why I have to pay. Until now they didn't response. Hope our forum will help lots of people who need job.

Hi, I just send my application letter and resume at this email last friday [email protected]. She told me need to work 6 days a week, I need to choose my day off and some questions, salary is $300-$1000 depending on the skills etc... Then I had to send my answer and another updated resume to [email protected]. I received a reply this morning from [email protected]
but it is not stated there that I need to start immediately. Is it really a scam? because I badly needed to work for my kids. Thanks

It is a scam - no employer would hire you site-unseen with a simple questionnaire and why would they be using free email addresses?

Please post their emails with your personal information removed in order to warn other victims that may be searching.

OMG! I was also contacted by these people. I was searching for a job on Upwork. They contacted me via email with all the instructions what to do. The job was ASAP and the salary offer is very attractive. As naive as I am, I immediately jumped in to the offer. The first task was to make comments about articles, then make up 10 gmail accounts, make job postings looking for additional virtual assistants. They also offered for a product testing that may require payment of 400 pesos for freight and earn 5K for product evaluation. These people and con artists. How can we report them and make other people aware of what they are doing? Good thing for me I have not given them money but they wasted a lot of my time. Damn

If you gave the scammer access to the email accounts and recovery address. You need to do your best to get them back and change the passwords for all account and recovery questions.

Scammers often will have people make email accounts for them because some providers will block their IP's from making new accounts.

If he has total access to all accounts and you can not recover them. Then post the email accounts here. They will be used in various types of scams.

Please beware! I have wasted my working hours yesterday and this morning just completing this task. When they are asking for a payment for a product testing, it came to me that this is really a scam. I looked up their email add and stumbled upon this forum.

Yes, they asked for the password for the email account. I will delete these accounts myself before they use it to scam other people.

You will need to change the PW of the accounts and recovery address. You will need to change all security questions to those accounts.

You will need to change your personal emails account PW's, recovery address and security questions.

Then you will need to change PW on banking accounts and everything you do online.

You have compromised your online security.

Deleting the accounts does not solve the problem.

The scammer can get them back with PW, recovery address and security question information.

They are also recruiting in the Philippines . Heavily in Cebu City.

I did not know that this kind of work-at-home scam has been going on since last year or perhaps years before. until 2 days ago. I have been freelancing in Upwork.com since 2011 (Odesk.com), it's a legit platform for freelancers so I didn't expect that scammers could go in then post fake jobs on the platform. I applied and same email/modus/communication was sent to me. Too bad I already emailed them the link to my resume and photo. thanks for creating this post. Mod can we also link this forum to FB and other Social media sites. Guys let's spread the word so that this scam will not go on and on. calling the attention of bayan patrollers help - let the media know. I will try and reach out to the people at abs-cbn, gma, tv 5 tru emails. let's crush these shitheads

Thank you for this post! I was very suspicious when they started to offer you an additional income just by participating in a product testing but you will handle the freight of 400php. Good thing I stumble in this thread. I just wasted 1 1/2 day from these shit heads. Btw, we must report it to upwork for them to prevent these scammers.
