I have fallen victim to this scam however they changed the name to KHP Leasing LLC http://www.khpleasing.com/

It is currently ongoing and I just found out about this article now. I was just at the part where I am supposed to purchase 4 laptops with company funds. I can provide all kinds of information if anyone needs it. I just don't want the scammers to know that they have been caught. Please edit my post if you think I gave away too much info. I have traced the people that registered the domain name. I have traced the IP address via emails, I have phone numbers and email conversations I can share if needed.

It is 100% a scam.

Post #1 Alan Jones wrote
Employment scam - tell victims to use a bank account they provide to clear their credit card balance and then buy items to send elsewhere.

The bank account used will be compromised and the money transferred eventually reversed, leaving the victim down the money they spent on goods to send for the company.

The fake companies Website has only been online for little over a Month.

Creation Date: 02-sep-2014 <<<< New website
Expiration Date: 02-sep-2015 <<< One year registration. Fake sites do this because they know it will be shut down within months.

Once again it is a scam. The scammer wants to give you stolen bank account information to buy the laptops. Once you buy the laptops and send them your bank will inform you of the fraudulent deposit. Your bank will take the money back from you. They will possibly close your account and report you to Law Enforcement for Financial Fraud.

The scammer will never pay you. You will be the only one paying anything. If you go along with it you may be paying bail and attorney fees.

Please go back and read the whole thread from page 1.

If you still have questions feel free to ask.

ETA: OlieTran understands the scam now.

KHP Leasing is the same exact thing as the DIL Leasing scam. I wasted so much time doing their case studies. Is there any way we can get these people arrested? DO NOT provide any bank account information or purchase anything they ask you to purchase.

I so wanted to believe that this was legit, but deep in my heart, I knew that it wasn't. I like most of the posters got to the point where I was to purchase equipment. When I got that assignment, an alarm clock went off in my gut and I came to this site and my worse fears were concerned. I'm just glad that I did not give them any banking information. It's unfortunate that there are folks out there that take advantage of people by leading them on and wasting their time, they should be locked up!

They are now called KHP Leasing LLC and the website has been shut down. A family member of mine fell for this scam. They were asking for his credit card information and asked him to purchase a laptop for the company just like everyone else. They even sent an employee agreement with a fake address and the spelling of the street name was incorrect. The phone number they have listed is 302-526-0545. The guy changed his name from "Jason" to "Daniel". This is the first email that was sent:

Good afternoon Mr. XXXXX,

I'd like to thank you for your time you spent on our conversation
today. I've pretty much covered all the aspects of the training
process, but for your convenience, I'll sum up what we've just
discussed.
We are expending here in US and five (5) offices will be opened in
preselected states. One of the offices will be opened in your area,
which makes the process a lot easier since there will be an exact
division you will be working with. Hopefully, only one and a half
months will be required to make the office up and running. Since we
have some time before the office opens, we made a decision to use it
for training and selection. Upcoming Assessment Process will give you
an insight of the Project Executive position and our company will be
able to select the most suitable candidates based on the results of
training.
We pay a close attention to the on-line training. Since only half of
our candidates have a background in leasing, it's important for us to
provide you with necessary materials so you may get basic skills. As
well, there is always a competition, so you'll have to show your best
during Assessment Process and dedicate required amount of time to work
on training materials. Upon completion of Assessment Process a
decision will be made and only after that you will be able to get a
full-time position.
Attached, you may find the Employment Agreement for upcoming on-line
training (Assessment Process) we discussed. First on-line group starts
on 9/26/14, but if the date does not suffice, you can apply for
another group. We launch 3 training groups weekly.
Here is how you can apply:
1) Sign the document. You will need to print out only the last page of
Agreement you received, sign it in pen (or use electronic signature),
scan it and send me a copy. We do not accept faxes.
2) Select the class. I've mentioned previously a date of first on-line
class starting soon, if the date and time does not work for you,
please, check your calendar and let me know what date works for you
best.
3) Actual on-line training. As soon as I get signed Agreement from
you, I will forward it to Training Department for verification purpose
and you will start the on-line training.
4) Final decision. Again, there will be 2 general steps to complete:
Theoretical Step and Practical step. Once you pass those steps, we
will provide you with final score and complete decision. Hopefully,
you'll meet with Executive Director at a local branch to discuss the
next step.

PLEASE, CONFIRM THE RECEIPT OF DOCUMENT.
Have a productive day!

Beware of all leasing companies offering jobs and asking you for your personal banking (credit card) information.
I knew it was a fake. But I wanted to know why they are doing it and how they want to make money doing it.
They established themselves in the industry that routinely purchases equipment. (i.e. Leasing)
They first try to build credibility through the theoretical part of the hiring assessment. Unfortunately it costs time and effort to do that, but they lure you to do it by saying that they will pay for your assessment at the end. They even email you a contract for that and ask you to sign.
Since leasing companies need to purchase equipment first to lease them they ask you to help them buy equipment for their clients as part of the practical past of the assessment test. You do research and find vendors and then of course comes the final bite.
They ask for your personal banking information in a form of a personal credit card. Imagine that!
A company wants to buy the equipment to lease with its employee's personal credit card!
They even promise you a commission cut of 8% of the purchased equipment value to entice you to do that. That is their weakest part unless someone is so desperate to get that promised employment that he will agree to provide his own banking information (credit card) to go ahead.
The problem is that you actually may attempt to purchase the equipment under your name giving away to the fraudsters your credit card info.
When the funds at the end are not there as the fraudsters provide someone else's stolen bank account and the equipment is released, the vendor is after you with all the law enforcement remedies. You lose 2 -3 weeks of your time, money and can be arrested and prosecuted for fraud and/or for the financial crime.
The chances are that with a good attorney you hire, and bail yourself out of jail, you may be found innocent and the victim of the fraud yourself.

http://www.KHPLeasing.com seems to be out of this business as their site shut down on Oct. 25, 2014.

Thank you for your post Robert2000,

To remind people you will be out what you purchased and sent. Then you may have to pay bail and attorney fees. There is no win to this situation.

The fake scamming companies DIL Leasing and KHP Leasing are not out of business. They simply had their fake websites shut down.

The scammers will make a new fake website and be back shortly. They will just have a new website, fake name and Manager.

If you encounter new details (Website) please post the emails they sent with the email headers so we can report that site also.

Please contacta moferatorstor if you have a question or information about this post.

Please do not tell the scammer he is posted here.

They are now using the name KHP Leasing! I have just spent the last two weeks doing these "assignments" until, just today, I receive another email stating the next step requires my credit card. Right when I read that I had a terrible feeling in my stomach. Is it possible to investigate these people doing this and have them arrested? Or can we only prevent others from falling victim??? Has anyone pursued an investigation???

This is the last email i received from this guy and i spoke to him yesterday morning around 11am central time. Cannot get through to him today emails are being returned and will not answer the phone. He had not asked me for personal banking info I have a banking background and when i started to question him on this process he was really nervous. I told him it made no sense for me to look up prices online when they could do it just as easy and why would you purchase computers in the US for a foreign company. I figured this for a scam but i did not find this website until today. If i can help anyone please let me know.

Good day Mr.Stanley,
How are you today?
Just wanted to let you know that I have received your Case, it was
checked and your current AVERAGE score is 5 out of 5, which means that
we are able to start Practical Part.
Practical step is a very important step in the Assessment Process. You
will have to show your best, work strictly to the deadline and satisfy
customer's needs. To complete this part 1 week will be given so we
must work fast. As soon as we complete the first project we will
either return to cases or proceed with the next one. During practical
part further objectives must be completed:
- we must locate vendors and prices;
- we must purchase specified equipment and deliver it to customer or
corporate HQ with no delays.

Here is what you must know about Projects:
- there will be up to 3 Projects you will be able to complete during
the Practical Step;
- each Project may take 4-5 business days to complete. All Projects
will be done in your area so there is no need to travel to other
states (even if you get an International one);
- Projects will be compensated. For each completed Project you will be
getting a compensation which will be added to your monthly check;
- the amount of compensation for each Project may vary and will
depend on quantity and the classification of equipment to procure;
- Projects are our main priority and we do not want to mix them with
Cases. Once we complete the Project, we will move to the next Case;
- each completed Project will give you 1 extra point which will be
added to your FINAL AVERAGE score;
- funds to complete the Project will be provided by our company, I
will let you know how to get funds as soon as we complete first step;
- and finally, please be advised, all Projects are existing ones and
we are responsible for them. Delays are not acceptable. Try to respond
timely and provide only verified information.

Here is the information on your Project:
- attached is a part of Project you'll have to complete. Depending on
how much time you will be spending on those Projects, we will decide
how many of them to give;
- our customer is a solid International Company called Enghouse
Interactive, a telecommunication company which delivers Enterprise
Telephony solutions to both operators and directly to companies
(http://www.enghouseinteractive.se). They opened 5 new facilities in
Dusseldorf (Germany), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Kiev (Ukraine),
Helsinki (Finland) and Luxembourg (Luxembourg);
- the equipment lease project has been signed and we must
deliver office equipment and computers/laptops to customer's offices;
- the specification of your Project will be - "Laptops and Computers",
which means that you will be supplying only laptops and computers.

You will be working directly with vendors who sell laptops/computers
and below is a list of duties you will be performing:
- find equipment in your area. Negotiate best price, provide our
company with required calculations including local tax;
- suggest possible retail stores/vendors, make a comparison of
prices, give the contact information of selected retail stores
including addresses;
- advise on the location of carrier services. We will be dealing with
USPS so you can make an additional research and provide us with
information on their office locations and working hours.

Projects will consist of 3 STEPS:

Step #1 - RESEARCH. You'll have to make a research, suggest possible
vendors, complete necessary calculations and make it in a form of a
report, in Excel for example. This process must take 2 days.
Step #2 - FINANCING. As soon as Special Projects Department
confirms your report, Financial Department will give exact
instructions on how to receive corporate funds to proceed with
purchase and delivery. Takes 1 day.
Step #3 - PURCHASE. Once we're done with scheduling the budget, we
plan on proceeding with purchases. You'll have to purchase the
equipment through selected vendor(s). Takes 1 day.
Step #4 - DELIVERY. As soon as items are purchased we will give
you instructions on how and where to ship the equipment. Takes not
more than 1 day.

Attached, please find Project list. We are starting Step #1 so,
please, review list of equipment, make a research and provide me
with: prices, calculation, tax information, vendor's location, list of
USPS offices in your area and complete the report within 2 BUSINESS
DAYS in Excel spreadsheet list. FYI, there is no need to calculate
possible shipping costs since we are not clear what direction you will
be supplying. Concerning vendors: as a retail stores we prefer
Apple, BestBuy, MacMall, as on-line vendors we prefer Amazon or Apple
Store, but you may suggest other vendors as well.
If you have any questions, let me know.
Have a great day!

As usual with this type of scam the set up is vague and convoluted to give the appearance of reality when actually the underlying concept is ridiculous.

No leasing company, let alone one that claims to be so substantial and international, would use individuals to purchase the items they lease simply because one major benefit a company can take advantage of by buying the goods themselves is their ability to bulk purchase goods by the hundreds if not thousands to secure substantial discounts.

To suggest that any significant company buys goods that represent its stock in trade through the personal accounts of their employees is ludicrous. The scammers rely on the desperation of their target victims to secure employment to overlook this aspect but, as the scammer is intending to defraud or steal from the victims, perhaps even causing them to be prosecuted, this is something to be very wary of.

Be very suspicious of any job offer that doesn't entail you having a face to face job interview and I don't mean online. No company will ever allow you to buy anything for them with their money without meeting you in person beforehand. Aby company that does is intending you to spend your money not theirs.

http://www.khpleasing.com has been held by the registrar which means that not only is the website gone, but email addresses based on that domain such as [email protected] will no longer work. The scammers will have to register another domain for their scam.
