Just wanted to let you know that I have received your Case, it was
checked and your current AVERAGE score is 5 out of 5, which means that
we are able to start Practical Part.
Practical step is a very important step in the Assessment Process. You
will have to show your best, work strictly to the deadline and satisfy
customer's needs. To complete this part 1 week will be given so we
must work fast. As soon as we complete the first project we will
either return to cases or proceed with the next one. During practical
part further objectives must be completed:
- we must locate vendors and prices;
- we must purchase specified equipment and deliver it to customer or
corporate HQ with no delays.
Here is what you must know about Projects:
- there will be up to 3 Projects you will be able to complete during
the Practical Step;
- each Project may take 4-5 business days to complete. All Projects
will be done in your area so there is no need to travel to other
states (even if you get an International one);
- Projects will be compensated. For each completed Project you will be
getting a compensation which will be added to your monthly check;
- the amount of compensation for each Project may vary and will
depend on quantity and the classification of equipment to procure;
- Projects are our main priority and we do not want to mix them with
Cases. Once we complete the Project, we will move to the next Case;
- each completed Project will give you 1 extra point which will be
added to your FINAL AVERAGE score;
- funds to complete the Project will be provided by our company, I
will let you know how to get funds as soon as we complete first step;
- and finally, please be advised, all Projects are existing ones and
we are responsible for them. Delays are not acceptable. Try to respond
timely and provide only verified information.
Here is the information on your Project:
- attached is a part of Project you'll have to complete. Depending on
how much time you will be spending on those Projects, we will decide
how many of them to give;
- our customer is a solid International Company called Enghouse
Interactive, a telecommunication company which delivers Enterprise
Telephony solutions to both operators and directly to companies
(
http://www.enghouseinteractive.se). They opened 5 new facilities in
Dusseldorf (Germany), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Kiev (Ukraine),
Helsinki (Finland) and Luxembourg (Luxembourg);
- the equipment lease project has been signed and we must
deliver office equipment and computers/laptops to customer's offices;
- the specification of your Project will be - "Laptops and Computers",
which means that you will be supplying only laptops and computers.
You will be working directly with vendors who sell laptops/computers
and below is a list of duties you will be performing:
- find equipment in your area. Negotiate best price, provide our
company with required calculations including local tax;
- suggest possible retail stores/vendors, make a comparison of
prices, give the contact information of selected retail stores
including addresses;
- advise on the location of carrier services. We will be dealing with
USPS so you can make an additional research and provide us with
information on their office locations and working hours.
Projects will consist of 3 STEPS:
Step #1 - RESEARCH. You'll have to make a research, suggest possible
vendors, complete necessary calculations and make it in a form of a
report, in Excel for example. This process must take 2 days.
Step #2 - FINANCING. As soon as Special Projects Department
confirms your report, Financial Department will give exact
instructions on how to receive corporate funds to proceed with
purchase and delivery. Takes 1 day.
Step #3 - PURCHASE. Once we're done with scheduling the budget, we
plan on proceeding with purchases. You'll have to purchase the
equipment through selected vendor(s). Takes 1 day.
Step #4 - DELIVERY. As soon as items are purchased we will give
you instructions on how and where to ship the equipment. Takes not
more than 1 day.
Attached, please find Project list. We are starting Step #1 so,
please, review list of equipment, make a research and provide me
with: prices, calculation, tax information, vendor's location, list of
USPS offices in your area and complete the report within 2 BUSINESS
DAYS in Excel spreadsheet list. FYI, there is no need to calculate
possible shipping costs since we are not clear what direction you will
be supplying. Concerning vendors: as a retail stores we prefer
Apple, BestBuy, MacMall, as on-line vendors we prefer Amazon or Apple
Store, but you may suggest other vendors as well.
