Company Representative scams, Payment Processing scams and other Employment scams.
by Maximilian Hopkins Mon Nov 03, 2014 2:30 pm
I have been contacted by the same company, now claiming to be KHP Leasing, LLC.

My training officer is "Daniel Borel" [(302) 526-0545.

We did a month of testing and I was getting 5's out of 5's. They said they were sending me an "employment package" last week. It never arrived. They also asked me to price the laptops, but never sent me the money to get them. They have now gone "silent". They no longer answer e-mails or the telephone.

I feel like such an idiot! I have been out of work for years and I thought this was my salvation. I even told my wife (although I had a gut feeling that I should not).

I do not know what to do now.

they have recently changed the name to USA leasing company. see the email below.... it is a scam.. i cant believe people actually have time to come up with such ideas for scamming people. if you are unemployed and looking for a job... and have your resume openly posted to careerbuilder or monster.. that may be how they get in contact with you.. so i'd research any company that just sends you compensation and benefits up front without initial conversation. just google them... you'll know. this company seems as if they are sitting in china and doing this... there too many scams that comes from China.. unfortunately. Best of luck.. i wish there was a way to nail them. i'd personally would want to have a piece of them. one of the email below talks about their change from khp to usa leasing.. yet the signature of Borel still says KHP leasing... yet address used is usaleasing. all the cases they send you are listed on website.. just google one question.. i picked on this.. coz i did this during my MBA.
Just wanted to give you a quick update today. I have received great news from our EU Head Office and EU Division. Next week we will be
moving to a new domain due to our US expansion, so our clients
can easily find our company on the web. Also, we will be adding new
features and interactive menu to our web-site. You will be able to
visit our new site on November 15th, before that it will be closed and we do apologize for that. Also, we are going to add addresses of new US Divisions and launch commercials on central TV, you'll hear a lot more about KHP Leasing, LLC next month, changes are on it's way.

However, my message is URGENT. Due to changes in the domain name, my @khpleasing.com work account will be no longer available. Now, for
further correspondence, please use my new account at
[email protected]. I will be unable to use my
@khpleasing.com account any longer and if you try to send me any
details to that account, they may be lost. To avoid possible
problems, if I do not get your e-mail, I'll send you a notification from my new address.
Anyway, as soon as you get this message, please, immediately confirm.
Enjoy your weekend!

P.S. Note: @khpleasing.com will be active till Sunday and then it will be closed. Those, who will be sending completed cases on Monday, please, e-mail them to new address. We do apologize for temporary inconveniences.

To Maximillian Hopkins
Thanks for posting about KHP Leasing They told me they are opening an office in Bakersfield, CA on Dec 1st and needed leasing agents. I wondered why I was getting 5 out of 5 every time! I decided to do some more checking on the company on line and found you guys. It is still Daniel Borel and he emails me my lesson everyday. I'm suppose to be in competition for the position until 11/21. The original call came from 302-526-0542. Both #'s have a KHP Leasing voicemail to leave a message . Originally googling them revealed they are a registered Corp in WA. with the phone of 509-965-8365. I just tried that # twice and it has been disconnected.
below is the end of his emails to me. How does this scam work? They have stolen hours of my time but I don't see how they can get anything else?? My name is Sharon and hopefully someone will get back to me?
Best regards,
Mr.Daniel Borel

Sharon, I had the same experience. I started the "testing and training" on October 3ed.

I kept getting 5's out of 5's and it was really boosting my ego.

They told me they were opening an office in Oakland on November 12th, and that was going to be my start date. They also told me they would pay me a stipend for the "training and testing"

I paid them nothing. About a week and a half ago I was told that I was doing so well they were sending me my formal employment contract and benefits package.

They then asked me to go out and price laptop computers. They said they were going to advance the money, but I was to buy and ship them. I went to the Apple Store and the manager practically threw me out. He said the KHP was in their "system" and that I was not the only one doing this and if I wanted something, I should order on-line. I thought he was just being rude, but apparently he knew something, but did not want to share it.

They then asked me what the limit was on my credit card. I explained I had been out of work and I did not have a credit card, but I went out and got a secured card. They said this was no problem.

Then they went 100% dark about a week ago. There have been no return e-mails and the number in Delaware is just a voice mail no one ever answers or responds to. I think your company in Washington is actually a separate company. KHP has no corporate or LLC listing in California or Delaware.

So yes, they wasted a lot of my time on very realistic tests, but money never changed hands. I even offered up my credit card #, and they said they did not want it.

So I am not sure where the scam is supposed to be.

Someone else posted that after they wire the money, they reserve the wire and we are stuck with the bill. This seems like a lot of effort for a relatively small amount of money.

I am happy to talk more if you want to call me @ Removed (BW). I had some doubts, but I finally told my wife, so she would stop yelling at me about not having a job. Now if I tell her she will probably divorce me.

Cheers,

Removed (BW)

@ Sharon Curran

The scam is explained through out the thread. Please start at page 1. This particular scammer constantly changes names and build new fake websites.

Never trust a phone number. For example +1-302-526-0542 is a Voip which means this number can be answered anywhere in the world. It is a number to make and receive calls over the internet.

ETA: The scammer is likely located in Ukraine. Nothing on his fake websites or in his email is real information.

Originating IP: 91.222.136.198
Originating ISP: Delta-x Ltd
City: n/a
Country of Origin: Ukraine

99% of work at home jobs are scams and most of them are re-shipping scams or money mule scams, which is what this one is. If you Google money mule, or read the entire thread, you will understand.

The domain USALEASINGSOLUTIONS.COM has been suspended for abuse. So the scammers will need to register yet another scam domain. When you get another email from the scammer post the email address they are using here.

We will not know what they are calling themselves now until they register another domain for their scam.

Just thought I'd make a post to let everyone know that they have begun ONCE AGAIN with a new company name and website.

Name: "Global Micro Finance Group, SA" (which is actually a real company that exists in Lausanne, Switzerland
Website: www.globalmfgroup.com

Angelica Kauffman left me a voicemail, then I interviewed with a Felix Grasset. My instinct was that something seemed scam-ish about the whole thing, then my instincts were confirmed when I received the "Case #1" document and it was about as comprehensive as a 5th grade Social Studies homework assignment, no joke. Anyways, I started googling keywords from the 'Case #1" document and a couple "Homework Tutor" websites popped up with the exact same questions that were on my "Case #1" document. I clicked on one of the sites and saw that somebody had uploaded their "Case #1" document to the website for someone else to do it for them HAHA! But, I also noticed the header on their document said "KHP Leasing, LLC" instead of "Global Microfinance Group" like mine. I googled "KHP Leasing LLC" and it lead me to this thread. Good thing I didn't speak to anyone at my current work in regards to my consideration of this "Executive Director" position, much less, put in my 2 weeks notice, because losing my current employment would be far more detrimental then losing a couple thousands dollars on computers.

I'm happy to post their new name and website here, because as of right now there isn't anything on any website related to a "Global Microfinance Group - Scam".

Hopefully making this post will help get the word out.

Thanks everyone for all your information!

Also, their US headquarters address and Phone # are listed under their 'Contact' section on their website. It is the same phone # they called me from.

I was also contacted by Angelica Kauffman and Felix Grasset. I got to case 4 before I stumbled on this site. I was beginning to get suspicious. Case 5 was very lengthy and for me to spend all that time to do it I decided to really check into this opportunity. I've been unemployed for 3 years and was really excited about this opportunity but I'm glad I listened to my intuition and found this. Felix Grasset just sent me an email inquiring about my Case 5 Assignment lol. I decided to reply him this way:

Mr Grasset or Felix if that is your real name. You have wasted my time excessively with the scam you are running. I decided to investigate your company and there are numerous complaints on the internet about you people. How you are preying on innocent people who are legitimately seeking a better life for themselves. It is too bad you scammers exist but God will deal with you all. I am done with your infernal time wasting case studies that lead no where. Mark my words you may have it good now but you will have a sad end. That's what happens when you scam people, life itself will scam you with a fate worst than death. Enjoy the time you have left...the clock is ticking. Do not bother contacting me again I am done with your bogus company.

The scam domain GLOBALMFGROUP.COM has been suspended by the registrar. That means that the website and email addresses that the scammers have been using are now dead. They will have to register another domain for their scam and they will as this is at least the 4th one they have used. Though it might give you much personal satisfaction to tell a scammer he is a scammer, it is counter productive. It is better to simply stop communicating. We depend on the scammers continuing to communicate with potential victims, one or more of who will alert us to the next scam domain he is using.
